We had nothing but problems with the RCA system we had. I bought it new in the box on eBay several years ago and it barely lasted a little over a year. It was relatively easy to set up, but we kept having problems with some of the speakers to our system going in and out. Also, the sound quality wasn't that good either. We only paid about one hundred, not including the shipping, but I still expected better a better working system. I'm sure I'm not the only one having problems with the system, and I think that the company knew about the problems with their product. I know it there wasn't anything wrong with our television because other brands worked great with it. We finally got sick of the poor sound quality interfering with movies we would watch so we gave this to my eldest son and purchased a new system. If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy this RCA system again. So, I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone even if you found it for next to nothing on eBay.hundred, not including the shipping, but I still expected better sound out of this than what it delivered. All in All this is a very good system for not costing a lot of money. There are lot's of cords and ways to configure this amplifier and it's not really easy If you're not used to plugging in wires to inputs and outputs to yellow white black etc. The good news is once you get all of your peripherals like television, Blu ray player, DVD and whatever else you want to hook up to it. Once everything is connected you will have a very good home theater sound system that will really impress you. Speaker placement is essential for the best sound and configuring the system can be a bit frustrating but if you read the directions and have a little patience, unlike me, you should have it ready to go in less than an hour. Once it's ready to go I think you'll be surprisingly happy with the results. There is no reason to pay a fortune for a home theater. This one does a great job at an amazing price. It's important to read the directions and connect things up step by step.

The jury is still out for the most part, but I have found the system easy to set up and works great. All I need from this site if possible is a universal remote code so I can control it and everything hooked up to it with one remote, as it is, this unit is the only one that does not have a **code for the universal remote** to be programmed in it.
