Great Machine

By

Comments about Precor 9.411 Cardiologic Treadmill:

Overall, I love the machine. This treadmill isn't as expensive as the most high tech-treadmills out there, but it's not the best treadmill I've ever used. The machine works very well in helping you exercise and has many settings to increase the speed. However, after a few years of use, many of the functions of the machine begin to stop working. Otherwise, it's easy to adjust to this machine even though there's not really a place to put your iPod. It's very comfortable and easy to use, and you get what you pay for!

Performance
Works very well to help you practice your running skills and works well to challenge yourself.

Comfort
Very comfortable to use

Ease of Use
Very easy to learn how to use, although some of the settings can be confusing.

Durability
It is able to withstand a lot of things, but it does wear done after a while and loses important functions.

Design
The design is very simple and not as sleek or high tech as many new models. However, it's good for the price.

Heavy Duty Machine--Lots of Variation and never breaks down.

Comments about Precor 9.411 Cardiologic Treadmill:

Precor 9.41l Cardiologic Tradmill:  Purchased this machine back in January 1999.  Used it religiously 4-5 days a week.  The first service call I had to make was in March 2006 (7 1/4 years after weekly usage) and it was for running deck/belt worn out and needed to be replaced.

It has inclines up to 10 and speeds up to 10 mph.  Has the ability for 4 different users with 2 individualized programs available within each users identity.

Don't go cheap with your workout equipment -- it pays off in the long run.  1999 to 2009 and my maching is still going strong -- daily!

The Precor is a reliable bet.

Comments about Precor 9.411 Cardiologic Treadmill:

If you want a high-quality treadmill, this Precor is right for you.  This treadmill has all the basics: settings you can save with your own personal information (this is great for tracking your calories burned without having to input your info every time), exercise programs (such as tracks, runs, and the ever popular at my house "fat-burning" -type programs), and it has the added bonus of the cardiovascular/heart-tracking component.

There are other "extras" that I appreciate about this treadmill. I love that my water can sit on the little ledge area -- as well as other things (a magazine, iPod, etc.).  I also love that it has a stop-pulley that will immediately stop the treadmill (and there is a stop button too [smile]).

But my favorite thing about my Precor is it is very reliable and can endure long-interval running (I had to train for a half-marathon on it and it did great with 2 hour runs) and it works well when the incline is used frequently (something other treadmills can struggle with).

Precor has great options for settings and endures hard usage

Comments about Precor 9.411 Cardiologic Treadmill:

I use the Precor treadmill almost everyday during the cold and rainy months, and it is just great.  It has a wide variety of settings, including pre-programmed hill intervals and fitness tests (Army test, track workouts, etc.).  I especialy like that you are able to do predefined distances, such as a 5k race, so that you can cover the display and run without paying attention to your mileage.  I've also found that the calorie meter is remarkably accurate, according to my pedometer.  The Precor is also a great system because it is easy to use and durable.  I've found that this treadmill is great for running on days when you need to relieve feet that are sore from pounding on pavement.  I also suffer from IT band problems and find relief running on the Precor.  One other nice bonus is the layout of the machine.  It has a wide display with space for holding small items (like and iPod) or water bottle.  I'm a big fan of this treadmill brand - it seems to have been made with runners' comfort in mind.
