This product works so well for frying ground beef. It is my go to utensil. I absolutely love it and can not use anything else to get my meat with.

I love my mix and chop! So easy to used, breaks down hamburger meat really fine giving you more meat out of the pound. Rather than chunky meat it breaks it down and really gives you more!

I received this item as a gift, and would definitely recommend it to a friend! It's a little bulkier and heavier than I expected, but definitely works very well. I use it most when making any meal that requires ground meat, and also for evenly mixing homemade potato salads.

This is a great product with only one big flaw (more on that later). It is a wonderful tool for chopping ground beef really finely while cooking. It's my favorite way to chop meat for tacos. I think it takes a lot less effort and dexterity than using a wooden spoon. The nylon material used on this tool prevents it from scratching the pan, and the handle has a comfortable grip. I can twist and turn the blades with ease as I chop the meat while it cooks on the stovetop. Now for the flaw: The raw meat often gets stuck in the crevices, forcing me to either 1) dig it out with my fingers or a utensil while cooking, or 2) leave it there and lose some of the meat in the process. And while this product can be washed in the dishwasher, mine will often come out with some of that trapped meat still in there. There are ways around this (scrape the meat off before washing, or just handwash the tool), so it isn't a big enough issue to make me stop using it. I like the finished product (finely ground, evenly-cooked beef) that I am willing to remove some meat with my fingers or a fork while it's cooking, and scrape it down before washing. Ease of Cleaning Those crevices with trapped meat are the only cleaning issue for me. Durability I use mine often and so far it has lasted several years.

I absolutely love the Chef Mix 'N Chop. It does a fabulous job of breaking up meat when you are cooking it. It is particularly good a breaking up ground beef for tacos, sloppy joes, chili, etc. It is particularly useful if you buy your ground beef in the plastic rolls since the meat tends to stick together when it is cooked. It is well worth the price and is one of the handiest utensils I have. Ease of Cleaning The Mix 'N Cop is very easy to clean. I just rinse it off and put it in the dishwasher. It looks a good as the day I first go it. Durability It is made of heavy duty plastic and will last a long time. The blades show no damage from the heat of the skillet. Design The Mix'N Chop is easy to use. The blades do a great job of chopping the meat in the skillet. Since the blades are plastic the utensil can be used in nonstick skillets with no damage to the skillet. The handle is sturdy and comfortable to use. It stores easily in a kitchen drawer.

I really like cooking, but I don't like all of the clean up time when it comes to washing dishes and other products. I try to use as many multi-use kitchen items as possible. This is where the Pampered Chef Min'N Chop comes in. I absolutely love using this for just about everything in the kitchen. I often make ground turkey for casseroles, tacos, etc. This is a go-to chopper whenever I make turkey or other ground meat. I use this to break up the meat while it is on the stove or in a dish in the microwave. It's much more convenient than trying to use two wooden spoons to break off the cooked or thawed meat. When I add other vegetables they are easy to mix into the meat mixture using the mix 'n chop. It's also heat resistant, so I don't worry about it melting when I use it on the stove like I would with a spatula. I don't really have any problems with meat sticking to the blades, and it is really simple to wash. I typically just put it in the dishwasher-normally laying flat on the top shelf. I store it in the same drawer as my other spatulas, and I never had any problems with this breaking. Ease of Cleaning This is very easy to clean because I just put it in the dishwasher.

Ugghhh, what to say about this thing. I have it, use it and it works well for it's intended purpose (breaking up ground beef when browning it). It is especially helpful if you don't happen to like large chunks of meat in your food, which I do not, or if your meat is not 100% defrosted yet! it helps break it up easier. My problem is, while thing is useful in its own right, it is also kind of gross. Raw meat has a tendency to get stuck in between the "slats" that separate & chop up the meat. So, I use it to break up the meat, but then can't use it once meat starts cooking because there is ALWAYS raw meat left on it. I also find it particularly gross when I have to clean the stuck on raw meat out of it before putting it in the dishwasher. Maybe it's just me, but if this product is supposed to make coking more convenient or quicker, I do not think difficulty cleaning it should be a trade off. Durability I have had this for awhile but I don't use it enough to claim it's durable. Design Great idea, poor design. Raw meat gets stuck on this thing everytime you use it.....gross.

This is one of my favorite Pampered Chef tools. It makes browning hamburger easy, and you don't have big chunks. It does what it says, mixes and chops. Easy to use too! My kids liked to use it and my husband too. I use it for spaghetti sauces mostly and browning meat for taco meals. I am sure there are more interesting uses for this item but I haven't figured them all out yet. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning is easy in the dishwasher or in the sink right after you are done using it. Not hard at all. Durability I have found it to be very durable and strong. Comfortable to use and I like the material it's made from. It doesn't hurt your hand, or even your kids hands. Design I think the design is simple yet intuitive. Smart idea for a helpful and easy tool. Pampered Chef's products all seem durable and interesting in design. I would sure miss mine if I didn't have it to cook with. Fits in your hand well, easy to use for kids and adults.

This is a great product! It is one of my favorites! I have not ever seen anything like it before. My favorite thing to use it for is to chop ground turkey into small bits for chilli and taco filling. I have not found anything better to get the chunks as small as this chopper does. Ease of Cleaning It is important to wash by hand as soon as it has been used. If you put in the dishwasher before the food is cleaned from it, the food will stick and harden to the chopper. The food will come off, it will just be more difficult to remove once it has hardened from being in the dishwasher. It is dishwasher safe. Durability This is a very durable product. No matter what I am chopping or smashing, it does a great job! Design I really like the handle on the chopper. It is easy to hand on to and push down for chopping and smashing. I have used it to mash potatoes, break sausage, ground turkey and ground beef, and have used it to smash black beans for a black bean dip!

I love the mix and chop for browning ground meats. It makes it much easier to chop up the meat compared to a regular spoon or spatula. Provides for more even browning and more evenly sized pieces of food. The only drawback I find is that it's a bit hard to clean. The edges of the mix and chop seems to always have some food residue stuck on it. The price is good as I am sure this tool will last a long time. I have also used this tool when cooking large batches of food for a large crowd. It is very useful in this circumstance as it cuts right through the meat and allows for more even cooking and just generally makes it easier to cook a large batch of food. Ease of Cleaning The edges never seem to get clean without some major elbow grease. Durability I haven't had it for long, but it seems like a sturdy product. Design Great for mixing and chopping ground meats!
