Helps puffiness but not dark circles

By

from USA

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

I have some of the worst under eye bags and dark circles. I wake up sometimes and underneath my eyes is so puffy and dark it looks like I got in a bar fight the night before! The woman at the counter told me this would be my miracle, she said it would tighten and lighten my eye area and make me feel great. I fell for it and bought it. I will say that it does tighten up the eye are very well. You can actually feel it tightening up after you apply. It does not however do anything for my dark circles or redness I sometimes have. I still use it occasionally for my puffiness but I use other products now for the circles under my eyes.

Effectiveness
It tightens up the puffiness under the eye and a little bit in the eye lid. It does not however lighten up dark circles.

Ease of Application
I put a small amount on my ring finger and gently massage all around my eye area. No need to rinse off if using at night time.

Scent
Has a really light scent, not really noticeable.

Reduces eye puffyness

By

from Westchester, IL

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

Some times when I spend several days in a row with very little sleep I use Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes to reduce eye appearance. I apply a pea size amount under each eye over night for a couple of hours and rinse it off in the morning. My eyes appear to be refreshed after using this product despite still feeling tired. This gel has a nice smell and doesn't affect my sensitive skin. It has caused my eyes to tear up a little when I forget I'm wearing it and it gets in my eyes, but it's only a temporary issue. I only use this gel when I really need it because I have tried to use it on a consistent basis and found it not to be very effective. After a week of every day application this gel started to lose its effectiveness on my eyes. One downside I noticed about this gel is that applying it for only 5 minutes does nothing for my eyes. I must let this gel stay on for at least an hour to receive any significant benefits.

A natural, cooling treatment for under the eyes.

By

from Harlingen, TX

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

This was recommended to me a few months ago by a representative at the Origins counter. It has natural ingredients, which was very appealing to me. For the higher price than I pay for other eye treatments, I really didn't see as much of a difference as I would like, though. I did like the cooling effect, especially in the morning when my eyes seem to be the most tired feeling.

Effectiveness
Before I bought this, the skin under my eyes would get dark circles and it was very puffy. During the first two weeks of use, I did notice some reduction in puffiness and it seemed to lighten the skin some. After those weeks though, I was hoping it would continue to improve the area under my eyes, but I didn't feel like it improved it any more than that. Also, it has a gel-like feel to it. If I'm going to be applying makeup soon after, then I use a small dab of moisturizer over it first to be sure that it isn't too sticky when I apply the makeup.

Ease of Application
The new roller applicator makes it very easy to apply. Just lightly squeeze the tube, and then roll it under the eyes. Use your ring finger to lightly smooth it under the eye. It can also be applied on the eyelid this way.

Scent
I don't notice much of a scent, and I like that.

A cool way to get rid of those puffy morning eyes.

By

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

I found this product on the Origins website, and thought I'd give it a try. I used the mask the morning after receiving it, and it worked fast. I like that you can use it in two ways--as a "mask" tissuing off after 10 minutes; or as a cream using a smaller amount and leaving on all day. I am curious to see how long the container will last me.

Origins No Puffery a soothing solution for the under eye area.

By

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

Soothing.  That's what I like best about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes.  I paid a bunch of money and ordered this small tube straight from the Origins company.  I think they were feeling a little guilty about the price becuase they sent 2 free samples with my order.  The revews on the Origins website for this product were very positive and made me want to try it.

I love the cool green tube, the smell, the fact that a little dab will do ya - it really does go a long way.  The instructions say you can wash it off after 10 min. or for stubborn puffery, you can just leave it on.  I have always left it on.  I want to know that it is still working for me under my make-up.  And I believe it does.

I clean my face, put on moisturizers, then apply this cooling mask.  After it dries (it is wet and slimy going on), I apply concealer, then the rest of my make-up.  What I like about this product is that it really is comforting and soothing especially if you had a rough night, insomnia, a too early morning.  It does seem to de-puff.  I can't say that it gets rid of dark circles - maybe a little? - but it makes me look more awake than I actually feel.  Looking in the mirror, I can tell a difference.  So yeah, that is really good.

What I don't like about this product is that it is SO expensive and I've tried other products similar to this one (Mary Kay, Fructis) and they all seem to work about the same.  So it is a toss up.   I am recommending this product because I like it, but with the caveat that it  is not earth-shattering and not so different from other products.  Also, while it is good at de-puffing, what to do about dark circles?  When manufacturers begin to realize that the dark circles are also extremely important, then we will have made progress.

I love this stuff!!!Only requires a small amount, but does a great job at reducing puffiness. I have used it for anything from lack of sleep, to overindulging, to allergy/sinus swelling. I don't travel anywhere without it!

Watch the puff go poof almost instantly

By

Comments about Origins No Puffery Cooling Mask for Puffy Eyes:

Okay ladies, we have all had those days - puffy and tired eyes from lack of sleep, a stressful day or teary event.  No amount of make up can cover that awful sight in the mirror.  No Puffery is a cooling masque that not only helps to reduce puffiness of the eyes, but makes you feel more refreshed.  Maybe it's the 10 minutes "downtime" resting while it works that does the trick.  The only drawback is finding those uninterrupted few minutes to lie down or sit back in a chair allowing the product to do its magic.  Like all name brand cosmetics, Origins is one the high side of pricing.  But hey, if it works, it is worth it in my estimation.  So pamper those peepers.
