I bought this controller from a friend and I've never been happier with it. It has everything I wanted, for the perfect price. It is beautifully designed with perfect functionality. I'm completely satisfied with the product and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking to get in to DJ-ing.

Comments about Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol S2 DJ Controller:

I've been DJing for about a year and a half now, and this is my second controller. I love just about everything about it, and I can't wait to get my hands on an S4 or the S2 MKII. The only turn-off for me is that the jog wheels are so small. I'm used to the jumbo-sized jogs on the Numark Mixtrack Pro, and that might be why. The jog wheels also use a pressure plate type thing, while the Mixtrack Pro is kind of like a touch screen, just without the screen. The fader cut is a lot sharper and more sensitive than the Mixtrack Pro, which I like a lot, and the audio interface is a lot more broad, with both RCA and 1/4 inch main outputs. I love the feel of the rubber buttons and rubberized knobs as opposed to the all-plastic layout on the Mixtrack Pro, and the design of the S2 is much sturdier than the Mixtrack, because the S2 is mostly made out of metal. the bright LEDs are a huge plus compared to the subtle backlighting of the Mixtrack. The tight integration with Traktor is also a plus, as the Mixtrack Pro was pretty much made for Serato Intro, which is a dumbed-down software based off of Serato.
