I recently began a photography business and was looking for a good monitor that can be color calibrated for good photo processing that wouldn't force me to break the bank starting out. I was also looking for something that I could use with my current PC so I wouldn't have to switch entirely to using a Mac. We were amazed when we actually found a monitor on Consumer Reports that would work well and be a great price. We ordered it, curious to see whether it would hold up to our expectations. Since it arrived, we've been nothing but pleased with the NEC. The colors are great, the picture is clear, and it doesn't fade out when you move from side to side or away from it. The extra-wide screen allows for great viewing, and the images are crystal clear. I like the fact that you can turn it for a vertical picture as well. I'm incredibly pleased with our choice, and I definitely recommend it for anyone who needs true color on a budget.
