THIS ICED TEA MACHINE IS JUST WHAT I WANTED WHEN I BOUGHT IT. IT MAKES THE TEA IN A VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ADD THE ICE. IT IS VERY QUIET AND EASY TO USE. I ACTUALLY BOUGHT A GREATLY USED ONE IN A THRIFT STORE TO SEE IF THEY WORK WELL AFTER THAT AND IT WORKS GREAT. NOW I WILL GET A NEW ONE.

**My sister kept telling me once I had tea made by the tea maker. I will not want to go back to boiling the water, and add the tea bags. She was right.  A pitcher comes with the tea maker. You fill it with cold fresh water. Whatever level you want. You can use from one quart all the way up to three quarts. Make sure you don't over fill. To put the water in, you lift up the lid, rotate the shower head out of the way. Pour water into the reservoir. Put your brew basket back. Take a four cup mr coffee paper filter into the basket.  Add your tea bags, you can add your sugar , lemon or other flavorings to the brew basket.  Whatever suit your taste. You rotate the shower head back into position. Make sure it over the brew basket. Close the water reservoir. You adjust the steeping level to desired brewing strenght. You can fill the pitcher with ice cubes. Then replace your lid, with the picher spout cover in the open position. Slide the pitcher towards the iced tea maker  with spout open fitting just under the steep control. When you plug in the ice tea maker. You push on  the on button fimly until it comes on. You will see the button light up. I got one of these for Christmas from my grandmother because I am always complaining about having to make tea everyday.  I will usually forget that I have tea on the stove, and will usually cook until the water is almost gone, and the tea bags bust.  Anyway, she got me this for Christmas, and I love the idea, but the one thing that I really don't like about these machines are that I like lots of sugar in my tea, and you can't put the sugar and the ice in there at the same time because then your sugar will not dissolve.  So I have to put the sugar in the jug, make the tea, then if I wanted to add ice, I would at that time.  But doing it that way is much quicker and if I do forget about it, I have not busted tea bags or ruined another pan because I boiled all the water out.  I like that there is a setting to make your tea as strong or as weak as you like it.  I do wish that that it had a bigger pitcher, but other than that, it seems to work pretty good for now.
