I go through mice on a regular basis; even though I clean them and keep the cords straight after hundreds of thousands of clicks the buttons or scroll wheels start to malfunction or clicks simply don't register. The M110 is a corded mouse that is plugged in to a USB port; I have used this directly in the USB port on my laptop and desktop computers as well as with a USB hub with no problems. Some electronics will only work if they are plugged directly into a USB port but this one will work with a hub if you are short on ports. Even though this is a basic mouse it has smooth scrolling and the buttons are generously sized. It can be used by those who are left or right handed and it takes a matter of minutes to get used to the feel of it. The scroll wheel is a necessity for me; I got so used to having one that I can't use a mouse that doesn't have one. It comes with a one year limited warranty against defects but if you are going to have any problems with it chances are it is going to happen within the first couple of days. If that is the case you can return it to the store you purchased it from for an even exchange. The center slope of the mouse helps to eliminate hand cramps and hand soreness that you can experience with other mice. The cord is long enough that you can have it plugged into the back of a desktop or the back of a laptop and still have plenty of slack to move it freely. If you have an older computer that has a round mouse port there is an adapter packaged with the mouse that you can use on the end of it so you don't have to use a USB port. You get the same results regardless of whether you use the adapter or plug it directly into the USB port but if you are using this with a desktop and are going to use the adapter you are going to have to allow for an extra inch of space because of the size of the adapter.

I bought this Logitech mouse a few years ago, and I realized over these few years, I didn't use it too frequently even though it was on my desk the whole time. It has a nice design, the price was reasonable, and it is easy to use and control, but it didn't maneuver as smoothly as I hoped it to be. Also I couldn't figure out a way to turn it off. I had no problem connecting it and getting it to work, but other than taking out the batteries and connecting it every single time before using, I couldn't turn it off and I felt like that wasted a lot of batteries. In fact, it really was wasting a lot of batteries, because I remember keep having to replace the batteries, since the batteries were being used up even when I wasn't using the mouse, which was most of the time. Overall I think the quality is pretty good, but I think I have just gotten used to not using the mouse at all. I would consider recommending this mouse for people who like to use a wireless mouse, but personally I wouldn't purchase something similar anytime soon.
