Seasonal beer products are a welcome event and I often anticipate the change of seasons for this reason (okay, we don't really change seasons much in Houston, but you get the idea). I like winter brews most of all, but the other seasons are not without their share of memorable drinking moments. One seasonal that is pretty interesting and quite refreshing is Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, a beer made for the summer season.

This past summer I had my wife try summer shandy for something different, she only drinks light beer and she was so impressed with it that that is all she wants to drink now. It is a great beer if you want to have a refreshing drink on a hot summer night while you are grilling out with some friends. This is the only beer with a lemon flavor that is not overwhelming and still retains much of the beer flavor. The only problem I have with it is after a few the lemonly flavor does become to sweet.
