Quickly becoming one of my favorites

After trying out the LUSH cupcake scented mask and learning my lesson about not letting it spoil, the next time I went in I decided to try out the Oatifix Fresh Face Mask. I absolutely love the ingredients in this product, oatmeal is so good for my skin and always leaves my face feeling hydrated which is a total necessity in the desert. It's a little bit pricy but definitely worth every penny and made with a bunch of fresh stuff. I highly recommend this for anyone with dry or sensitive skin especially. Effectiveness This mask really refreshes and moisturizes my face, I love it! Ease of Application This is just as thick and luscious as the other LUSH products. It was dried fully in about twenty minutes and rinsed right off with some warm water. Scent This basically smells like fresh baked oatmeal cookies and vanilla, I advise you not to eat it on an empty stomach because it smells that good. I love the sweet, warm smell.

I love this LUSH mask!

I jumped on the LUSH bandwagon last year, and I am so happy I did. LUSH may be a bit pricey, but it is just such a great brand. I love all of their face masks, but I especially like this Oatfix Fresh Face mask. It smells just like an oatmeal cookie, and it leaves my skin feeling so smooth and fresh. Another aspect I really enjoy about this face mask and all LUSH face masks in general is the fact that they use real ingredients. This face mask needs to be stored in the refrigerator after it is opened. The only true downside to this is that the face mask must be used within about three weeks to a month after opening; otherwise it will spoil. Effectiveness This face mask is very effective. My skin always feels so soft and smooth after just one mask treatment. Ease of Application Very easy to use if you follow the instructions. Scent I absolutely adore the scent of this face mask. It smells like a cross between an oatmeal cookie and a sugar cookie. It is so sweet-smelling.

Great Face Mask!

This is one of my favorite face masks from LUSH. It smells like an oatmeal sugar cookie. Each tub gives me about four to five uses from it (and the cleaned, empty tubs can be returned to LUSH in exchange for a free face mask if you bring back five empty ones). The mask looks like actual oatmeal and does tingle A LITTLE but it is barely noticeable. It washes off cleanly and leaves my face very moisturized, which is why this is a great mask for the winter when my face gets very, very dry. While this mask has small almonds crushed up into a fine grit, I do not find that these exfoliate well so I would use a separate scrub for that (unlike their Brazened Honey mask which is awesome for exfoliating). Also, keep in mind that this face mask has to be kept in the refrigerator or else it is prone to spoiling since they use actual food ingredients in these. The other downside is that it is best to use this mask up within two to three weeks of purchasing, again due to the risk of it spoiling (I have heard of masks that sat too long getting moldy).

Oatifix smells lovely but otherwise it is a complete disaster.

My favorite group of LUSH products is their Fresh Face Masks.  They are made with whole fruits/veggies, yogurt, honey, mineral-rich clay, etc. and don't contain any preservaties.  I really love them, despite their 3 week shelf-life, because they really do deliver fresh, rejuvenating, and nutritious ingredients to my tired skin.  Unfortunately, *LUSH Oatifix Fresh Face Mask* is a loser and one that I'll never buy again.  *Oatifix* is supposed to be a cleansing and moisturizing face mask for sensitive and dry skin.  It contains ingredients including finely ground oatmeal, fresh bananas, ground almonds, clay, talc, vanilla pod, vanilla absolute, and sandalwood oil.  This mask smells super-yummy and reminds me of a dessert with bananas, whipped cream, and vanilla wafers.  Unfortunately, using this stuff is a nightmare.  It is absurdly thick and is about as easy to spread across your face as chilled cooked oatmeal.  Even after up to 15 minutes on skin, it doesn't dry which means that it is equally as challenging to rinse it off.  After rinsing *Oatifix* away, a greasy residue is left behind on skin... which resulted in clogged pores and, incredibly, a few breakouts within the next few days.  Not cool! I'm usually a huge fan of the *LUSH Fresh Face Masks*, but *Oatifix* is a disaster.  NOT RECOMMENDED!!!
