Great price for this LG Plasma TV but falls behind in HDMI connections, internet connectivity, glare and black levels. Remote control has a backlight which is useful if you're in a dark room. The USB input lets you view photo and listen to music straight from your USB thumbdrive. Not much of an energy hog if using the energy saving mode (an option which can be activated/deactivated with a touch of a button on the remote). Has touch panel interface on the bottom right hand side to turn off/on, change inputs and channels and adjust volume. Also has optical and coaxial outlet inputs. The sound falls flat - you'll need external speakers to get the full effect. It has a swivel stand which helps if the TV is set in a large room. We purchased our TV in September of 2010 and this week we had a repair man come out to look at it because we started getting a snow image and the TV keeps turning off. Apparently, the panel isn't as strong as it should be. Luckily, we're under warranty and we won't have to pay for the repair.
