Comments about LG 50 in. Plasma TV:

This TV is one of many in LG's plasma HD TV line up.  This particular model is a 50 inch Plasma HDTV.  This tv has amazing picture quality.  Colors are very vibrant and noticeable.  Brightness is never an issue.  And thanks to its 600hz sub pixel refresh rate motion blue is a thing of the past.

This model boasts an amazing 600hz refresh rate.  This is one of the highest on the market today, and makes video games, movies, and sports look as smooth as if you were there.  I had never thought there would be such a difference, but after upgrading from a rear projection tv with 60hz refresh rate I can honestly say this is a leap forward in viewing pleasure.  This blazing fast refresh rate paired with anti burn in technology means images staying on the screen after the tv is turned of or the channel is changed is a thing of the past.

Other notable features include a 2,000,000 : 1 dynamic contrast ratio for great color.  This model also includes a light sensor, which will automatically adjust the TV's settings based on the environment around it.  Another neat feature is the "invisible speaker" system.  Unlike normal television sets, the LG 50PQ30 has the speakers hidden behind the screen, so the sound comes from behind the TV.  This may sound funny, but in use it sound very good and balanced. This TV also supports 720p HD out of the box, however I noticed when connecting a PS3 that the TV will actually go to full HD, which is 1080p.

Overall a great value for the price.  I picked one up for 500 slightly used.  So far the best tv I've ever purchased.
