Intex air mattress is comfy until you get an air leak :(

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I think I paid about $160 for my air mattress. It is nice, but they advertise it as being so tough, and it will never leak or get a hole in it. WRONG! Mine was put in the extra room. Only 2 people had used it. There were no sharp objects put anywhere around the bed. There was no smokers in my home either. Suddenly, I noticed the bed was going flat. I only had it 9 months! I can not figure out where the hole is, if there even is one. When I use the electric pump with the remote, some air comes out of the hole area where the tube is attached. I am wondering if there is something lose around there.

Other than the sudden leaking, the size is more like a FULL, not a queen that I paid for. The be...

This Intex Twin size air mattress works great!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I got this air mattress for when I came back to my parents house since I took my bed to the new apartment, and let me tell you, it was a great investment.  We had another air mattress before, but like all air mattresses, it lost some air in the night and you would end up uncomfortable and with your butt hitting the floor, but not with the Intex.  The thing that drew me to it instantly was how deep it is, it's much taller than many air mattresses and so even when it does lose air you never end up uncomfortable.  The one I purchased was Twin sized, though I'm certain they make larger.  The built in pillow however ends up being more of an annoyance than useful.  I perso...

Good quality air mattress for the price

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

After poring over reviews of different air mattresses my husband and I decided to go with the Intex Classic Downy Queen Airbed with 2 Pillows and Double Quick Hand Pump because of the price and the generally favorable reviews. We chose this over a different, slightly more expensive brand and model because it came with a manual pump instead of an electric pump. My husband's reasoning was that an electric, or battery powered pump would fail more quickly than a manual pump. I have not personally blown up the mattress, but it takes my husband between seven and ten minutes to inflate it. Once inflated, when used as a bed, not a trampoline it holds its air for about a week. My children did use it ...

Unbelieveable comfort, a bed away from home.

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Have you ever been camping when you really aren't a camper? That's me. I hate sleeping on the ground. I've tried sleeping on cots. I even tried one air mattress that was difficult to get up from off the ground. We even bought a a pop-up camper. We stopped traveling for a long time and we gave it away.

Now we are going to be traveling again. We are empty-nesters now. I refuse to sleep on the ground. I now have some disabilities that won't allow me to move as easy as before. What to do?

We have no camper, only tents. We can't afford hotel stays. State Parks are wonderful to stay and camp. My husband searched and found the perfect product for us.

He bought an air mattress by Intex. It i...

Intex Air Beds are Top Quality Sleeping Products

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We have a yearly camping trip we take every fourth of July weekend.  This year we decided to camp in our tent and needed an air mattress.  We did a TON of research comparing prices, ratings, just the overall differences between the popular brands.

I came upon the Intex brand at an online retailer.  This retailer listed Intex as one of its top selling brands.  After a number of Google searches, I found out that Intex is in the top 5 on pretty much every website for one of the best air mattress brands out there.  I decided to search for the best price on a Queen size double high model(the one with the downy top and built in pillows).  I eventually found the best ...

Better than a 'real' mattress

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

This past tax season my fiance and I were seeking to buy a new bed. After pricing a few queen sized beds and frames we came across the Intex air mattress. The price was much lower than a full bed-set, so we decided to give it a try. It was one of the best decisions we've made.

The mattress is more comfortable than any "real" mattress we had found within our price range. My fiance has back problems, and in the past she would wake up with a stiff, sore back. Since we swithced mattresses she has had no problems.

It is durable, which is important because our five year old son likes to wake us up in the morning by walking on our bed, and the raised height is enough that we don't feel as if we a...
