Love the Coleman quick bed!

5

I recently purchased two of these as extra beds when we had family coming into town. They were perfect for our needs. Those who slept on them found them to be comfortable and relatively stable. The flocked top is nice so you don't feel like you're sleeping directly on plastic, and it holds the sheets in place nicely. They inflated easliy. They deflated as quickly as they had inflated, making it easy to get them out of the way during the daytime. I really like that the cover and ties are attached, making it easy to always find them when it's time to put the beds away. I think this will be a big plus if we take them with us when traveling because there is no bag to get lost. It takes a little practice to get them folded the right way and wrapped back up, but they do go back in. Be sure that all the air is out first and it will be easier to pack them up. I am glad to have these on hand for unexpected overnight guests.

Great for short term camping trips!!

Picked up one of these for my solo 3 day camping trip since my last air mattress actually got dry cracks in it from the cold weather and then ripped eventually.  So I needed a new one and was looking for something of actual decent quality and hopefully an air mattress that wouldn't get weather worn from my cold winter camping trips up to the local mountains and foothills. The material on this bed is very sturdy and the seems and stitching, or whatever is used to hold it together is very tough and seems durable enough for alot of pressure.  It was just like any other air matteress as far as setup, i hooked up my electric air pump powered by a 12V portable power house that i have.  The connection nozzle for the air was a standard large sized nozzle with an attachment for the smaller size.  Once I setup the mattress with all my blanketing and sheets and layed down for bed, I was very pleased with the comfort and how stable it felt while sleeping.  The next day when I woke up I felt fresh as a whistle! This is a great air mattress for comfort and durability.

A good alternative to the Aero-Bed

4

We bought this Coleman Air Mattress when we needed an extra bed to go on a mission trip. We didn't want to spend a lot of money and while we know that the Aero-Bed is very comfortable and easy to inflate, we didn't feel like spending that amount for an inflatable air mattress. I liked that it was easy and super quick to inflate, the air pump is extremely loud though. You feel like you need to plug your ears the whining is so loud but it really inflates the bed fast, in about a minute. I did not like though that we had to buy an air pump, wish it had come with the bed. We use the bed when we have company over, or when we need a bed for our daughter when we travel. I love that you can actually fit the bed into the travel case! So many inflatable mattresses or sleeping bags are so difficult to fit back into the travel bag, but not so in this case! It is definitely a good alternative to the Areo-bed, and its comfortable too! We haven't had any problems with it deflating during the night either! I would highly recommend this product.

A great air bed

I am not going to lie. Sometimes, at the end of a long week, and if I just want some extra sleeping space to myself, I will blow up our Colemans Air Bed and sleep on it at home! My husband and I are bothroomy sleepers, and sometimes it is just not comfortable! We use this airbed for some of our visitors, and everyone always comments on how comfortable it is! It is easy to blow up, and has been up for more than a week before without needing to be topped off. It has an electric pump to blow it up or deflate it in no time, and it folds up quite tightly for easy storage. We actually have two of these and they easily rival a bed for comfort, pack up easily and neither have ever had a hole or puncture despite storage and being moved from room to room in our house while blown up. Not to mention abuse from two young boys jumping on them! I would recommend these to anyone who needs a quick and easy alternate bed who does not want to sacrifice comfort.

Durable and comfy!

These are the best mattresses around. They are super comfortable and easy to set up. I keep mine folded up in the original box and just bring it out when I have company. It can sleep two people quite easily, though we once had four people on it while on a road trip to California. I recommend this mattress to anyone, but particularly those who live in small apartments and are cramped for space. Because it's inflatable, it stores easily and makes a great addition to any room. I've tried many different mattresses in my day, and these really are the most comfortable. They tend to hold their air well and not get too "squishy" in the night. Now for their durability...I have an older Coleman mattress that I like to take river rafting. We get 2-4 people on it and go down mid-size rapids no problem! Honestly, I've taken it down the Provo River four times and it still works! So not only are these mattresses a great deal because of their comfort, if you ever get the urge, you can take it down a river no problem.

I purchased one of these for camping.  I filled it with air and was in heaven thinking about that night's sleep.  Each camping trip I've taking prior was sleeping on the ground in tents.  Very uncomfortable to say the least.  I was very excited about sleeping on such an upgrade that evening.  When I laid down that night, I was very impressed by how comfortable it was.  If I was home and it was on the floor next to my bed, I would be complaining about how uncomfortable it was compared to my pillow to bed.  But here in the woods, next to the dirt, it was a dream.  I drifted off quickly to sleep in comfort.  However, I was awakened multiple times that evening by the noise of me turning on it.  I was able to get used to that over time.  When I woke in the morning, I realized that it had lost some air through the night and in order to be comfortable the next evening, I had to pump it up again.  This happens each night.  Maybe I got a defective one?  I don't know but I do know I'll be buying camping cots the next time!

Coleman Twin Quickbed Air Bed is not that great.

We bought this air mattress to keep around for company that would need a place to sleep while in town.  I was disappointed with the quality of this mattress.  We filled it up with air and within a few hours of one person sleeping on it, it became flat and our guest was sleeping on the floor.  We searched for a hole and found one so we took it back to the store since it was the first time using it.  We exchanged it for another one identical to it.  I mean identical as in identical down to a hole being in the next one as well.  We tried to repair that hole and it was very difficult.  The good thing about this mattress is that it was fairly priced.  It is also very easy to inflate as well as deflate and put up.  It doesn't take up much room when storing it.  I love the Coleman name and would buy something from them again because I have had good experiences with their products in the past but I would not buy this particular air mattress.

Pretty good mattress. I slept on one for over a year.

When my wife and i got our first apartment together we were pretty poor and couldn't afford a real bed. Somehow we came across one of these and ended up sleeping on it for over a year. Yeah it looked kind of funny considering we had night stands that towered over our rinky dink little air mattress bed... but it worked. I will say it was pretty comfortable. I never had any real issues getting to sleep on it... no more than any other mattress i've ever slept on. It did have a very very slow leak in it somewhere, but it was easy to just plug it in and fill it back up with air. I would most definitely recommend this air mattress... not to use all the time as an actual bed, but if you're going on a trip, or camping or whatever it would be perfect. I slept on it for over a year and never had a problem, i think most people could very easily survive a week or two. It's quick and easy to inflate...and just as quick and easy to deflate. It's a reasonable price, and you could get years and years of use out of it. It's actually pretty awesome.
