Hartz Nodor Litter Spray zaps cat urine odors but not all day.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Quick View: I received a bottle of this spray to try and I was skeptical. I have owned cats all my life and nothing completely gets rid of that very distinct cat urine odor. Still, it was worth a shot. I find that this spray definitely helps to eliminate litter box odors. I use it near and on the litter box/litter but also if I think my trash can has an odor or when my dog makes a mistake now that he is very old and blind. It seems to work well at zapping other odors as well as cat urine. The one thing I did note is that it doesn't last all day when sprayed on the litter or near it.

It worked.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Hartz Nodor litter spray was easy to use and according to everyone else in the house did work on eliminating odors. I can not smell anything anyway so for me personally I would never notice how bad or good anything smelt. Though I would not want guests to come over and be gagging from the smell of anything. Luckily my wife can smell just fine and hate smelly things and she said it did a good job of eliminating the odor then I am sure that it did. I have no idea what they charge for this stuff since I got a free sample bottle so I am not sure it is worth it. I can get a bottle of that febreeze knock off from the dollar store and use that to eliminate the odor in the air. Not sure if it be...

Hartz Nodor Litter Spray keeps dust and odors at a minimum

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

Our cats and their litter box are hot topics in our house. I don't like the way my husband takes care of cat waste and vice versa. I prefer to scoop & change the box less often & he prefers to let it sit there and reek until I nag him & he dumps the whole thing & starts over. After 18 years of having cats together, I've washed my hands of this battle let him handle it his way.

Thanks to Hartz Nodor Litter Spray, I don't have to nag as often as the spray helps with the odor issue & also the litter dust issue.

Right now we have 2 cats. When the litter box is changed, the liner bag and the litter get dumped into the outside trash and the box is hosed down. When it's brought back insid...

Hartz Has A BIG Heart So We Don't Smell Cat Urine Anymore!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I received a bottle of Hartz Nodor Litter Spray from Viewpoints. The bottle is a full size 17 ounce bottle which is a light greenish yellow in color. There is a spray nozzle on top which I have found to leak on occassion, but that didn't sway me in the least as I still gave this a 5 star rating.

This is an excellent product. I plan on buying it again and again as it does take care of the extremely pungent odor, that cat lovers know that our beloved pets will give off, when they urinate in their litter box.

The strong smell can be sickening no more with this Nodor litter spray which is very lightly scented and is not harmful to humans or our pets. This is safe enough to spray before you pu...

Hartz Nodor Litter Spray good spray for a stinky cat

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We have been trying the Hartz Nodor Litter Spray for a few weeks now and we have discovered that it will keep the cat box smell down . I would have liked it if it was more scented but I guess if they did that cats may not like it. My cat is very stinky ,She is constantly using the litter box , maybe we feed her to much and she is such a small cat but its an endless job.

The Hartz Nodor Litter Spray made the job easier by making it so we are not over powered by cat smell . Its easy to use and we put it on the litter every morning and it really kept the smell down. You don't have to use to much to do the job just spritz it around the litter and the smell is gone.

There is not a real discer...

So Awesome To Say Goodbye to That Cat Litter Odor!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

***Two cats, one litter box and a very long hot summer makes keeping our house smelling fresh and clean very difficult...until...I was fortunate enough to receive a sample of Hartz Nodor Litter Spray from Viewpoints. Now even I have something to purr about. Although I received the Hartz Nodor Litter Spray 17 oz bottle over a week ago, I really wanted to put it to the test and see how long the marvelous scent lasted. Well folks, I am content to say that yes, Nodor completely eliminated the cat urine odor until the time I had to change the box again (a little over a week). It's a phenomenal product which I plan on purchasing as long as I have my pets. No more need to be embarrassed when ...

Hartz Nodor, helps you have No Odor from the kitty box

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

With two cats in the house, we are always searching for something to control the cat litter smells. Short of changing the litter every hour, there’s minimal hope of not having a kitty litter smell in the house at least a little. So I was definitely excited to check out the new Hartz Nodor Litter Spray when offered as a Monday Funday trial from Viewpoints.

Hartz (a leader in pet supplies) has developed a “Nodor” line of products to help cat owners control urine odors. The litter spray is designed to remove urine smells from the litter box leaving a clean fresh scent. The advertising makes very clear that this is not like a baking soda or a scent masking formula. The advanced science tec...

Nice smell but don't see a point

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have been using this litter spray with my regular cat litter which is arm and hammer double duty. I scoop my box almost every day and have two cats. The litter spray does smell nice. It does what it promises in that it does not make the scoopable liter clump, which I was a little concered about. The amount in the bottle does seem like it would last a long time.

The problem I have with the product, and why I only gave it 3 stars, is that with clumping litter that you change regularly, I just don't see the point of the product. I think it might be more practical to use this spray with non-clumping litter. The fresh scent doesn't really last very long and might be better at controlling odors in liter that stays around longer or that isn't already scented.

The bottle nozzle was sort of leaky and that was annoying too.

All in all, I give it a 3 because there isn't really anything wrong with the product. It just doesn't seem like something I have a need for.

A clean scent and an easy to use spray, litter odors are gone.

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I wasn't expecting a lot when I recieved this in the mail as a sample product. With any kind of cat, you are going to have litter box odors (especially right after the cat finishes it's business!) and along with it comes odors that you just can't get rid of. I have tried a couple of different types but this is the best one yet. Granted it isn't perfect, but it is close. The only problems that I have with it is that the spray isn't exactly as fine as I thought it would be, thus leaving big water drop marks in the litter. My cat, who is unusally picky about different litter textures and grain sizes, doesn't seam to mind though. The other problem was that although the spray made the litter not ...

Really helps remove all odor!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

We have four indoor cats and two litter boxes, so odors are always a concern in our house. This spray was amazing! I used it first during a litter change, I sprayed it in the empty litter box before I added the litter. It really eliminated the urine odor that always seems to remain after a complete litter change. I also used the spray between changes and cleanings. It really helped to elminate all orders (urine and feces) between changes. I also sprayed this in the room where I have both litter boxes, it helped to freshen the air. I also used the spray on a towel that had cat urine on it from a outside cat, it really helped to remove the odor.

I have never found a spray that has wo...

This kills those odors in their tracks!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I want to start off with saying that this spray is really nice! I have two cats and sometimes they are little stinkers! Literally! But anyways, when I first got this I was a little skeptical but after using it, I find that this really does work. It states scented, but I don't really smell a scent at all. All I know is that when you spray, it doesn't clump the litter and it seems to take away the unwanted litter smells. The spray does what it says for me, and that is all that counts!

Would recommend and will indeed look for this in the asles at my store. Much better than spraying with air freshner.

I loved the Hartz Nodor Litter Spray

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I was very pleased with the smell and the results with this spray. I can say that I have tried dozons of sprays, poweders, etc and so many either don't work or have a horrible smell. This product is easy to spray and has a very faint but pleasant smell. I sprayed it over the litter box and was very pleased with the results. We have an ongoing issue of trying to mask the litter box smell because the litter box is in the bathroom that any guests to our house share. I actually had a friend visit that made a comment that she was not aware that the litter box was still in the bathroom until she looked for it. Great product and highly recommended!

Hartz Nodor Litter Spray keeps pet owners happy!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

In my opinion, this litter spray by Hartz deserves a special word. Being a cat lover, I keep a litter box for my 4 yr. old cat upstairs. I received my product approximately 2 weeks ago. The weather here is in the triple digits. I noticed that the litter box was smelling worse than usual. And-my cat had begun to go on my furniture, and other places in my home. The spray has a pleasant non-toxic scent to it. Immediately, I could tell that it had worked. The upstairs, was humid and hot, yet the Hartz Nodor eliminated the cat urine odor. I was releived. And the spray didn't clump the litter. Also, it worked on eliminating cat urine odor from my chairs and in the other places.

Overall, the pr...

Hartz nodor spray(scented) works reamrkably well.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I thought I had already posted, but I have been using the product longer and have somewhat of a different opinion. I think you can buy better quality litters that work better than a spray. the spray tends to make litter a little damp. If you try to use on a place where kitty has missed.....chlorox works better. Kitty returns to the same spot, so this doesn't completely destroy the odor. It masks, but doesn't destroy the bacteria that causes it.

To me, since I have multi cats, it is not cost effective. For one or two cats, it may be fine. That's is why....at this point I have to view it with 3 stars.

Nodor not so hot depending on your cat litter

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I have two adult cats and one cat litter box. Needless to say, I am a busy woman when it comes to litter. While using Nodor I experienced two separate brands of cat litter and I can say the response was very different. Firstly, I used the Tidy Cat scoopable cat litter in the scent of breathe easy. Tidy cat has their own odor pellets that release when they get wet with urine. I used the nodor with that cat litter brand and noticed it boosted the effect fairly well. There was no detectable scent of the Nodor even though I have "fresh scent". My cats blew through 20lbs of Tidy Cat in NO time at all. Much to my chagrin, I was out to buy another cat litter brand in about one week. This time I dec...
