This product is an inexpensive way to soak and cleanse dentures overnight. I have experience working in nursing homes and hospitals where many patients and residents appreciate having clean dentures to use in the morning. The way I use it is to scrub the dentures with a toothbrush, then put the dentures in a denture cup with two tablets of Efferdent overnight, remembering in the morning to be very sure to rinse thoroughly, because this cleanser is caustic on gums. The most disgusting dentures, such as the ones patients refuse to give up to my cleaning every day, still come clean. I find that stains from coffee and smoking are removed if I use this regularly every night. Better yet is that this formula has improved over what I used to use, which was the plain Efferdent. This minty fresh version smells very fresh and green, which deodorizes stinky dentures as well. And dentures needing a washing can reek worse than natural teeth. Cleaning their teeth with this product makes them feel better and their appetite is better with a nice clean mouth.
