Tastes as good as ice cream if not better

By

from USA

Comments about Edy's Slow Churned Yogurt Blends:

I love frozen yogurt, it tastes just as rich and creamy as ice cream but it's not as bad for you. I love that this company started making frozen yogurt in the delicious flavors ice cream would normally come in rather than just plain flavors like vanilla or strawberry. You can find them at pretty much any grocery store now when there was a time when I would have to go to a "natural foods" type store to find froyo.

Fantastic alternative to ice cream!

By

Comments about Edy's Slow Churned Yogurt Blends:

My husband became lactose intolerant at right around age 50, and ice cream is the one treat he missed and yearned for the most. I tried sherbet, sorbet and the like, but could not get him to even taste frozen yogurt, until **Edy's** **Slow Churned Yogurt Blends**.

While not all people with the misfortune of lactose intolerance can eat yogurt or frozen yogurt, many can, despite the fact that it's dairy. Being lactose intolerant myself from childhood, I  discovered long ago that I am one who can.

I had to badger him a bit to try a bite when I first brought it home, but finally he caved in and started out with just a couple of spoonfuls at a time (in case there **were** going to be repercussions). Before long, though, I discovered the frozen yogurt had magically disappeared. :)

The photo is of my own personal favorite. My husband's is the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Regardless of preference, it's the closest to "real" ice cream I've ever had. Rich, creamy, smooth and very satisfying, it contains 3.5 grams of fat per 1/2 cup serving, and only 120 calories, making it a wise choice for those watching weight. Additionally, just this tiny little half cup serving comes in at 10% of the RDA for Calcium, making it a healthy snack as well. There are other flavors available with even less in the way of fat and calories.

It doesn't get much better than Edy's Yogurt Blends for those of us who can't indulge in the real thing!
