I have been gardening for a few years now. In my area, all the major stores and nurseries stock seeds and vegetable transplants in the spring. However, about August 1st, they whisk everything off the floor and there are only a few seeds left. I have come to rely on Burpee for my fall gardening needs. Burpee seeds are the number one seed to use in your garden. I have used them myself for 20 years and each year my garden impresses me. The seeds are high quality and rarely do i plant them and have them not produce. The seeds are high enough producers that there are certain types you need less plants for a high yield.

I have been looking for California Poppy seed mixes for about four years. I am particulary interested in the orange flowers but any color combination would be good. I was at the store the other day and saw Burpee Annual seed mixes. RIght there in front of me was a California Poppy Sunset Mix. The price was great. And it was really nice to find them at the end of summer when a lot of the other brands are not putting them out anymore. The directions are very clear and easy to follow. And the pictures are clear and help with the directions. I can't wait to plant them.
