I registered for all Britax products for my shower after extensive research of reviews of all available out there. We got an extra base for my husband's car to make it easier. Lesson learned, we really didn't need it, but it works exactly as it should and does make it easier the few times we do use his car to travel. We use it with the Chaperone carseat. Also an added bonus was the registry rewards. If you go on the Britax website, if you get/purchase 5 different items (in categories) then you are able to trade in the UPC for a free toddler car seat. This is a great promotion and more companies should follow their lead. It is a little bigger then the standard average carseat and base. It fits well in my Mitsubishi Lancer, however it is difficult in my Husband's Chevrolet Cobalt. (Why we use his car less) I really like the shock bar in case of accident, it also give a little added room between little one's feet and the seat of the car, since they say rear facing until age 2.
