I have have had asthma since I was 14 years old.  I had several surgeries in a short period of time and the trauma of all of that has been attributed as the cause of my teenaged-onset of asthma.  Over the past 15 years it has progressively grown worse and is now classified as moderate to… read full review »

I was diagnosed as having Reactive Airway Syndrome and Exercise Induced asthma a couple of years back. My asthma now reacts to the changes in the weather and different smells, like the mint in my toothpaste! — I was prescribed Advair, rescue inhalers, and a nebulizer with Pulmicort… read full review »

All I need is the air that I breathe........ — Hello, asthma sufferers.   I join your ranks a few times a year, when allergies or stress push me over the edge.   I used to occasionally struggle to breathe during a vigorous game of tennis.   Lately I haven't had as many problems, but one thing I know for sure.   ADVAIR IS THE WAY TO GO IF YOU HAVE ASTHMA.  — It really, really works! — Advair is a preventive drug, so you use it in the morning, or prior to wahtever activity usually aggravates your asthma.  One quick… read full review »

I have COPD and I use an inhaler, but it does'nt do much. Once the Dr prescribed the Advair Diskus I had wonderful improvement and don't use the inhaler very much if ever. Only having to use it twice a day is great. I just keep it in the bathroom so I take when I get up and before I go to sleep. — If your breathing is a problem talk to your doctor about Advair —… read full review »

I was perscribed Advair a few years back to help get my asthma under control.  It really did work well for that and I was able to get my asthma back on track nearly immediately after starting it.  But after doing a little research I found that all Advair is, is Serevent and Flovent which are two commonly perscribed steroid inhalers mixed together in a powdered inhalant. — My insurance was greedy and would not cover Advair, they would only cover the inhalers sepreately so they could get 2 co-pays from me.  — Another downfall for me personally was the steroids made… read full review »

I have moderate to sometimes severe asthma. I have been using the Advair Diskus two times per day for almost three years now. Once when I wake up and once at night.  It takes only a few seconds each time and the results have been wonderful for me! Before Advair I was using my emergency inhaler (Albuterol) a lot. I also have a nebulizer at home and was having to use it way too much before I started using Advair. But since I started using Advair I've only had to use my nebulizer one time and that was a long time ago! I hope using Advair works as well… read full review »

I was first diagnosed with Asthma when I was 5 years old. I have been on practically every popular Asthma medication you can think of. Between pills, inhalers, nebulizer's you name it.  I was first introduced to Advair in 2005, ever since then I consider this my lifeline for those who live with critical Athsma should have the same feeling. — Advair has allowed me to not worry so much about my rescue inhaler and start living my life. I would recommend this medication to anyone, oh and by the way I have not had a SINGLE side effect from this either. —… read full review »

When I started on Advair I was looking at having to get rid of my cat and dog. I found a few yrs ago the reason I was s osick all the time and my Asthma could not be controlled was my cat and dog dander allergies. My pcp wanted me to remove the animals from the home, this was not an option for me. I talked to my allergist about it and he decided to try me out on Advair, it took awhile and I am on the highest dose but Boo Kitty and Romeo sleep with me everynight and I can breathe in the morning so I love… read full review »

I have had asthma all of my life. Using Advair allows me to be active and not worry about having my fast acting inhaler right beside me. During warmer weather, I only have to take one dose a day. When cooler weather comes along, I do have to take once in the morning and one before bed. This is MUCH better than having to take an inhaler several times a day. Don't know what I'd do without this… read full review »

Working in a pulmonary physician office we have seen wonderful results with most patients when using Advair. It is easy to use with great results. Must remember to rinse mouth out after using or thrush could occur as a result. Some of our older patients find it difficult not having the meter dose inhaler to push when they inhale. With some patient teaching it seems to work… read full review »

I suffer from brohncitis and ashtma. And it is terrible when you can't breath. I was diagnosed about three years ago and was given an inhaler. My son-in-law told me he used the Advair disk for his ashtma and told me to get my doctor to let me try it. I did. It helps me breathe much better and I don't have to use the inhaler as much… read full review »

I have been through a lot of asthma medication throughout my life and this is by far my favorite.  It is easy to use and it works really well.  It is so much better than having to use a nebulizer.  Having to drink a glass of water and rinse your mouth afterwards is a drawback, but I still think it's worth… read full review »
