I purchased this ihome portable rechargeable stereo speaker system to be used with my ipod touch.  I wanted to be able to listen to podcasts, books, and music without carrying around the ipod and having to use the earbuds, that were constantly falling out while I moved around.  I also haven't gotten an armband so it's hard to carry around my ipod when I'm cleaning or moving around the house  This speaker system has been the perfect solution, and I love that my ipod charges while it is docked. Plus it's small enough that it is portable and I can move it from room to room without a problem. My only complaint is that I can't dock my ipod while the case is on it, but that's probably more of a complaint with the case than the speakers.  The speakers are small and look nice.  I like that the dock retracts in when you aren't using the dock so it's not constantly just sticking out.  Great little speaker system for your docking ipod.
