We depend on Ziplock storage bags for so many things. We always buy the zippered variety. They also help us save space in our freezer by holding our meats in smaller sizes and ready for meal prep. We live in a small town, so we buy in bulk and use these storage bags for sectioning of all our foods. We've even used them for cookies and snacks on the road and for my spouses lunches. Great invention.

The Ziploc Zipper Bags with the expandable bottoms are a great bag! These come in really handy when you want to store something for the fridge. It sits nicely and doesn't tip over as easily as other bags. These bags seal really well and easily. They keep foods fresh. The Ziploc expandable bottom bags are also get for organizing or keeping things together when you are travelling or camping. I really like the option of the expandable bottom. It comes in really handy when you just want to be able to put it down and not have it fall over. These are a pretty good price. Maybe a little pricey than other brands out there, but I think that these are a better quality bag and the plastic material isn't as thing. It doesn't puncture or tear easily. I would recommend trying these bags out. They are a good bag to have on hand and you will probably like them a lot. I will be buying these again in the future.

These bags are awesome for the freezer! I have a good sized garden and when the crops start ripening they tend to ripen at all once and I end up with a TON of green beans or zucchini all at one time. These bags solve that problem for me. Since I don't can my vegetables I freeze my garden bounty in these handy bags. They're great because they seal tightly, keeping air from getting in and ruining the contents. These are also wonderful because you can fill them and then stack them on their sides in the freezer so you can maximize the space. Where containers have a specific height they can go to and then the space above them is wasted these can go right from top to bottom on the shelf and not waste a single inch of valuable freezer space. These never rip, and seal quickly and easily. I definitely recommend them for those who freeze a lot and need a reliable, quality product that just works every single time you use it.

I work a lot! I have children, a husband, college and work and of course, cooking and cleaning. It is an absolute must to have things in my home running smoothly. Ziploc Easy Zipper Bags with Expandable Bottom has simplified that for me quite a bit. I am able to cook in bulk and store food in y deep freezer so that no matter what happens, I am able to have a healthy, hot meal for my family. I absolutely love the expandable bottoms because they are able to hold more but, more importantly, they are able to stand up somewhat. It makes the meals I am able to cook more flexible. I love the range of sizes the freezer bags come in. I also like the zipper seal. It doesn't get stuck or caught up on the bag. It keeps the air out and helps to prevent freezer burn. The food I store with this brand lasts longer than with other bags. Overall, these bags are very efficient and they function very well. I use them quite often and would recommend them with complete confidence.

I freeze a LOT of foods. I'm the mother of two boys, and we live in a rural area where we sometimes get snowed in during the winter.  So I mean it... I freeze a LOT of food.  These bags are simply the BEST for freezing; especially if you're freezing anything liquid. First off, there's the zipper. I mean, how great is that?  No question as to whether the bag is closed or not. Just zip it and forget it. The zipper is also much handier than "press and seal" when you're doing a lot of "storing" at once. Sometimes your hands are a bit dirty and you don't want to have to stop and clean them so you can seal the bag. The zipper makes it so the bag doesn't require much man-handling to get closed. But what truly makes these bags so great is the expandable bottom! If you're trying to store bulky items (roasts for instance) this allows for extra room. I also make stock and freeze it, and the expandable bottom allows the bag to stand upright. Such a simple improvement! Makes me kinda slap myself on the forehead and ask, "Why didn't I think of that?"

Every now and then I succumb to my inner frugal monster and buy store- or "off"-brand plastic bags. I always regret it and return, grumbling, to the Ziploc brand. They are more expensive: you will pay for the quality and convenience. In the end, though, I usually think its worth it. (In addition, Ziploc brand bags can usually be washed and reused in a way that lesser quality plastic bags cannot.) In some ways, these bags are less useful than other Ziploc brand plastic bags, as the expanding bottom items are typically more expensive than the normal ones and also feature a sliding zipper. These make them less efficient for packing sandwiches and other flat items. However, they are great for pre-portioned snacks; the expandable bottom allows them to stand in the cabinet or fridge for easy access, when filled with fruits & veggies or trail mix. By standing upright, they create more room in the fridge or cabinet, which can be convenient. The slider also makes these a great choice for reusing, as they are heavy duty.

Hands down, Ziploc Easy Zipper Expandable Bags are my favorite freezer and storage bags.  To me, there is absolutely nothing not to like. First of all, they have a great zipper that makes it easy to seal the bag.  Don't you just hate those ones that you have to try to push shut to seal and you can't tell if they are totally sealed or not?  I sure do.  With the zipper there is no question, either it's shut or it's not. The expandable bottom is an even bigger seller for me.  I use freezer bags a lot and the expandable bottom allows these bags to hold even more than your typical quart bag.  It makes freezing bulkier items like ham hocks or chicken legs without any hassle.  The bottom expands to allow for these more awkward sized items.  The quality of the bag is also amazing.  I've never had them tear on more.  Not once.  And I've used them a lot to freeze things like chicken legs and ham bones (which have sharp edges sometimes).  They also do a great job of keeping things fresh and freezer burn free.  I've had food in these bags for months and never had a single issue with something not being fresh or having freezer burn. My summary:  The best bag (especially freezer bag) you'll find.

I have used ZipLoc bags for years and have become accustomed to the standard dimensions of the quart, sandwich and snack sized bags.  I grabbed a package of the quart size ZipLoc Easy Zipper Expanding Bottom Bags and have to admit I was very disappointed when I got home.  The easy zipper is certainly easy enough and while the seams seem to be reinforced around the zipper (bonus) it limited the mouth opening of the bag (not a bonus!)  I found that the new dimensions with the expanding bottom would still hold a quart of food (maybe) but the dimensions severely limited what would fit in the bag.  This length and width of this bag measure closer to the standard sandwich sized bags than the standard quart bags making it a poor choice for larger food items.  So a stack of standard slices of ham (4"x6" ovals), full length green beans and blocks of cheese were all very hard to get into this bag.  While this may be a great new innovation for storing liquids, it falls short of my expectations for food storage.

If someone asked me to name my favorite storage bag, my choice would definitely, beyond a doubt be in favor of Ziploc Easy Zipper bags with expandable bottoms. They are extremely convinent with the smoothly sliding zipper - much easier to seal the regular locking bags. The expandable bottoms are also helpful, making the bag larger and able to hold more. The quality of this product is also excellent. I have absolutely nothing to say against it. I have never had any trouble with the bags tearing or anything else objectional occuring. I have frozen food in these bags as well, and am completely satisfied. At our home, we go through a good deal of storage bags. They are used for a variety of purposes - food storage containers, organizational helps, and etc. I have found ziploc well suited to fit the purposes we need it for it. As long as I have the choice I will alway be using Ziploc storage bags.

These bags hold a lot.  I sent them to my kids teachers for school.  You could let the kids write on these with sharpies and then fill them with fun stuff for birthday party bags!  They hold that much!
