I just used my new Islamorada elliptical for the first time last night and I wanted to report my experience so far. I made sure to do a few minutes on each of the various hand grip positions and clearly there is alot of science behind how those were engineered, especially those rotating egg grips, which do work your abs very well. The machine came in one big (very Heavy) box and it took my son and I a little more than an hour to assemble it. The unit is extremely quiet and very smooth to operate. I was surprised at how intense the feel was as I inclined it all the way up to level 60. (% grade) The stride length adjustment had plenty of range of motion to fit either my wife or I. So far I didn't try plugging in my iphone or any of the programs so I'll report back later after the family has used it for a while. But this elliptical machine is a first class piece of equipment and well worth the money and it even came with a free scale in the box.
