I use the LifeCore Fitness at my local gym and love it. It is great for those recovering from injuries and need a less impact exercise. It is still a great source of cardio and I love how hard I can push myself. Because you hold the bars when you run your arms get a killer workout! I also love the option to move my feet forwards or backwards. Going backwards makes for a killer thigh work out. All around I love this Elliptical!

The LifeCore Fitness LC-985 VG Elliptical is a great piece of workout equipment. This exercise equipment is a something that makes you get a great workout. The calories burned outway the treadmill or the bicycle. It is a very easy to use piece of equipment. It is not hard on your kneew or legs. Most people I know love the elliptical more than they like the treadmill or the bicyle. It is a piece of workout equipment that can seem real smooth, you are able to read a book or listed to your tunes. There is no jarring, just a smooth piece of exercise equipment. Try it and you will see how smooth it is and not hard on your knees. I would recommend the LifeCore Fitness LC-985 VG Elliptical to all exercise users.

I am currently majoring in Physical Education at a 4-year college, so exercise and physical fitness are extremely important to me. I am always at the gym and using different types of gym equipment. I personally find this elliptical benefitting towards my work out routine. I spend at least 20-30 minutes on this machine and it really helps you lose weight and tone your muscles. The pedals are spacious and comfortable for your feet, and your feet don't slide while you're working out. It's great for people of all sizes (I'm very short, and I approve of this machine). It tells you how many calories you've lost, how much time is left, how many steps you've taken, and lots of other great features. You can choose different types of work outs and also your level of difficulty. I believe this elliptical is a great factor in exercise. I recommend it to everyone who is looking to get a better body. Although it's expensive, it's worth it

I got one of these in our basement, and it works great.  I got tired of using our treadmill, that's just plain dull.  The elliptical is the way to go.  And, with the lower price on the LifeCore Fitness LC-985 VG Elliptical, you can really afford to have your own gym in your basement.  If the lovely wife give you the space.  Just tell her the elliptical actually takes up less space than a treadmill.  I'm a pretty big guy, and I was worried that this one wouldn't work for me.  I've tried some out and they just rock all over the place.  This one stays pretty secure.  We've had ours for a while now, and it did develop a squeak every now and then when I'm on it, but you really can't be worried about that.  You have lots of setting to change your workout around, so it's not the same old, same old routine.  The wife doesnt' like it because she gets winded on it, but I think that just means you're getting a good workout!

For several reasons I love this elliptical. 1. I had reconstructive knee surgery when I was 17 years old and since then two other knee surgeries. I love to run and be active. My doctor told me that I cant run on asfault, cement, or anything of the sort and if I did arthritis would be in my future and at an earlier age, 40! Crap. That scared me until I found my new magic pill, the ellipitcal. I have not let a doctors suggestions hold me back and use it as an excuse to be lazy. I have since played college basketball and was a wildland firefighter for three years. The one machine that made that possible was the elliptical. It is incredibly smooth with my knees, all my joints. It saved me, really. I owe a lot of credit to the LifeCore machine. To that I recommend and will always recommend this product to anyone. There are several features that i love. Beside the nice flow and motion of the machine but its quiet. I felt safe and knowing my heartrate was important. The cost was not an issue for me because I didn't have to pay for it. I have always just used one where I work out. But if Santa really loves me he will get me one for my Christmas.

one of my new years resolutions was for me to eat more healthy and to exerciese more. my husband, trying to be helpful for me, bought me the Lifecore Fitness machine to use in our rec room. it works great and i am very happy with it. he uses it as well to keep in shape. the brand is one that we trust, so getting this we already had good expectations of it. it is easy to set up and it can be used without making any noise in the home. my teen son also likes to use it to keep in shape for the upcoming baseball season at his highschool. i think that this exercise machine is really good for all sorts of people. i also like that you are able to do a few different exercises on the one machine. that is good because it saves money and we dont need to go buy separate machines. it also saves plenty of space in the home by only needing to get this one machine. i know that if you invest in this you wont regret it.

This is the BEST machineI have purchased yet.  I am small framed at 5'2 1/2" and 100LBS, so usually most machines take my size easily.  however i am a workout MACHINE and this one took my beating and is still in fantastic shape.  Plus it is easy to use and a ton of fun. My husband, who does not work out with any regularity, also enjoys it and has used it at least twice a week for 2 months! I highly recommend it for strength, size, and efficiency. Plus, the warranty is great.

My Wife and I have been seaching for an affordable ellipical that we would both use. We had a limited budget and have been looking at serveral ellipticals for a while. The 985vg kept sticking out for sometime with us. I think I made the right choice just for the fact that while doing our research we happen to pick up a copy of consumer report to look at other elliptcals and there was the 985vg again with great reviews, it helped to reassure our decision. The elliptical went together just fine and now my wife and I have been using the machine everyday and we both love it. If it makes my wife happy than I am happy.

The 985VG was easy to put together which enabled me to get into my workout right after I entered some data into the computer.  I found it easy to use the toggle dial and enter button and had my personnel information entered quickly and chose the first program to start.  I did have to jump off quickly because I forgot to adjust the foot pedals though.  Great workout.

I got the LC-985VG a while back because I couldn't stand going to the gym and waiting in line for an elliptical machine. I live in a small apartment and I don't have much room for hefty machines, but the 985VG fits perfectly in my room. I'm a pretty big guy in height and weight (6'1" 215lbs) and this elliptical can withold every pound. Assembly was also a breeze since most of it came put together. I would recommend the LC-985VG to anyone looking for a compact, well put together machine.
