This microwave is perfect for me and my family. We do not use the microwave very often and we didn't want one that was going to take up a lot of countertop space. It took us awhile to find this and we are extremely grateful we did! In fact, we already had a small rolling cart in the corner of our kitchen and the microwave fits on it perfectly. Not to meant ion it is basically hidden, most people do not even realize that it is there. Performance Although , we don't use it often when we do it works great! For fun we recently have made some mug cakes and brownies and have had an easy time cooking them as they are not always easy to make in the microwaves due to cooking too long or too short. Settings/Features It has basic features and is pretty easy to use. I suppose if you aren't familiar with a microwave and how it works you may need the manual but truthfully it is basic. Ease of Cleaning I find it easy to clean, however, I also have some cleaning tricks I have learned using pinterest and I believe they have made this job much easier! Ease of Use Simple, basic, and extremely easy! Durability We have not had it long and we don't use it often so I'm basing this on the fact that it feels sturdy and so far we have not had any issues in using it. Design I love the design and that it is black. All of our other appliances are black, too. Plus it is sleek and compact. I find it rather cute for a microwave!

After upgrading to a double oven, we were left with no microwave and little counter-space to spare. That is where the Whirlpool WMC20005YB comes in... I do not use a microwave often, and this Whirlpool is the perfect fit for someone like me. Tucked in the corner, I barely notice it, and that is exactly what I wanted. When I need to heat up a cup of coffee, or zap a plateful of leftovers, it is the perfect solution. While quite small on paper, it fits my large restaurant style heavy white plates with ease. Though it is not rated as a very powerful unit, I find the compact size actually yields very good results. I don't know if it is due to the curved interior, but platefuls of food tend to heat much more evenly, though it does seem to take a little longer. The only trouble I had fitting something was my rather tall coffee mug. I had to remove the turntable, but after that it fit perfectly and worked great. Using it couldn't be easier. You can use the + button to add time... or you can simple hit the "start" button to add time in 30 second increments. It has a few other features such as a popcorn button but I have not yet used those so I can't comment. I highly recommend this microwave for those that only occasionally need one and don't want a giant black box eating up counterpace.
