We are a toaster kind of family! About a year ago our nice four slice toaster died so we ran to the store and out of desperation bought a cheap-o, two slice, 20.00 toaster. Everyday for the past year when we put a piece of bread in the slots we say "We need to get a new toaster!" I decided to get the house a new toaster for Christmas and a huge stipulation was for it to be a four slicer. I went online and started reading reviews etc etc and came across this one. I was 'in-aww". It looked so cool and compensated the two slice toaster with the fact that it toast in 90 seconds....wow...what a bad decision! While it looks sleek and fancy on the counter it has almost started two fires in the past two days. Toast burns, the slot doesn't open for it to fall through, there is no crumb catcher so the counter gets dirty...Awful decision. It's currently sitting back in the box in the back of car ready to be returned. Save yourself the trip and look for another toaster!!
