Surprisingly Tasty Scrambled Eggs in a Delicious Quesadilla

5

Who knew that frozen scrambled eggs would taste so good? I love Smart One's Breakfast Quesadilla, made with "egg whites, cheese, vegetables and turkey bacon." (The egg whites are actually yellow colored.) This is such a fast and easy breakfast and can easily be taken on the go. It comes with a sleeve that you microwave the quesadilla in. It comes out hot, creamy, and absolutely delicious! There are lots of layers of flavor inside with the bits of bacon and bell peppers. The cheese tastes so good smothering the scrambled eggs. You wouldn't ever believe you're eating something healthy. It is a very satisfying meal.

Good breakfast!

I had these for breakfast this morning and they were so good! They were quick, easy, and delicious! The eggs were so fluffy and held up well. I was a little nervous that they would get soggy or dry up in the microwave, but they were just perfect. The red and green peppers and onions gave it a bit of a Mexican flare. I was really impressed with the turkey bacon! It was so good and nice and crispy. I added a spoonful of mild salsa to the top-so yummy!

These Weight Watcher's Smart One's Morning Express Breakfast Quesadillas are awesome! My favorite part about them is the turkey bacon in them. The combination of egg whites, vegetables, cheese, and the turkey bacon is a winner! The eggs don't taste fake and the whole meal comes together perfectly. They also makes a great portable breakfast for eating on the go.

These are some of the best breakfast meals. They are quick and easy in the morning and the quality is outstanding. These are one of my families favorites. My boys love to eat these in the morning. It makes getting ready for school easier and makes them feel good to be able to have breakfast in the morning before school. They are quick and easy and taste fabulous!

Pleasantly surprised!

I have to admit I really wasn't expecting much when I bought these, but was willing to give it a try. When I bought it I didn't pay attention to the packaging and thought there was only 1 quesadilla in the box, so was surprised when I opened it and saw 2. Then I said? Do I get to eat 2? Really? Nope - it states in the nutritional info that a serving is one - so bonus! I thought I bought 1, but I bought 2! So good value! As far as taste goes..I actually enjoyed it! I wasn't expecting alot of mean/veggies in it...so wasn't disappointed there either. I may have cooked it a bit long in my microwave - didn't account for wattage..but that only resulted in a crispier quesadilla which tasted almost deep fried - without the grease! Would I buy this again? You bet! Now, I do have to admit that although I am not starving, I still feel a bit hungry, so next time I will round it out with a piece of fruit or a glass of milk. It is now August of 2013 and I am still buying these. They dont beat a homemade version, but on mornings where you are in a rush, they fit the bill. Quick and tasty.

Messy but tasty

This product is ok for a quick breakfast at home.  It is easy to prepare and does not take much time to cook.  It would be better if I could take it with me, because I am usually on the run in the mornings.  Unfortunately, it isn't  easily portable.  It wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't horrible.

This breakfast quesadilla is WAY better than it sounds!

I have to be honest, a *breakfast* *quesadilla* didn't even sound appealing to me, but my husband said that this one was awesome, so I decided to try one since you get two in a box.  **Weight Watchers Smart Ones Morning Express Breakfast Quesadilla **is quite inexpensive since you get two in a box for the price of one.  Each quesadilla has 230 calories and 7g of fat, which isn't as healthy as cereal or fresh fruit, but it is tasty, filling and better for you than most fast food breakfast items. The quesadilla contains: egg whites, cheese, turkey bacon, diced bell peppers (red & green) and onions.  Like I said, breakfast ingredients in a quesadilla did not sound good to me at all, but I have to admit, this is really good! The exterior is nice and crunchy and surprisingly, holds in all the ingredients (except for a little bit that oozes out).  The inside is really flavorful.  The turkey bacon is nice and salty, there's plenty of cheese oozing out and the vegetables give it great flavor.  It is much, much better than I expected it to be.  In fact, I love it! Even if eggs and bacon don't sound appealing in a quesadilla, I would suggest you give this a shot if you typically enjoy those ingredients.  They go together quite well, and I didn't even need salsa, like I usually do with a quesadilla.

new Smart Ones Breakfast Quesadilla.. so good..but I ate both!

5

I recently tried Smart One's new Breakfast Quesadilla and LOVED them. I love breakfast food, but most of the time I'm the only one eating it and who wants to make a mess of the kitchen just for one? not me. So I was very happy to find these and even happier when I tried them and they were good! They're very easy to prepare, just slip them into the microwave sleeve and microwave for apx. 2 minutes (times vary) serving size is just one quesadilla, but they were good. so I ate the other one too!! Still better than having bacon and eggs for breakfast, right?! They're a yummy combination of eggs, bacon, peppers, onions, cheeses and spices. Melts in your mouth. AND the bacon is turkey bacon, so thats even better for you. full of protien and packed with flavor.. who can resist! Nutritionally they're great and if you catch them on sale, thats even better, but definetely give these a try!

Be a 'Smart One'. Don't let Weight Watchers mislead you!

***Quick View:*** These quesadillas are tasty but I'm ticked off that the packaging mislead me into believing that a serving was two. Nowhere on the front or back of the box does it say there are TWO SERVINGS inside and the quesadillas are bundled together in one plastic pouch. So I ate both, was fat and happy, then realized that I actually ate double what I thought I had. How wrong is that? ***About Weight Watchers Smart Ones Morning Express Breakfast Quesadillas***These breakfast quesadillas are made with egg whites, turkey, and vegetables and are wrapped in a flour tortilla shell. They are made in the microwave like Lean Pockets. They have cardboard sheaths to be inserted into and, in three minutes or so, are hot and ready to eat. They are slim and have mostly scrambled egg whites (that are yellow) in them. I didn't taste any vegetables and just a tiny amount of turkey. They are tasty though but one will not fill you up. Trust me, I'm a very light eater and I ate two without a thought and was just comfortably full.***The nutrition labels reads like this***. For each quesadilla there are 220 calories and 6 grams of fat, 3 of which are saturated. They kill your sodium intake at 710 grams (28% of the RDA) and they each have 28 grams of carbs. They do have 13 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber which are decent amounts. There is a smattering of a few vitamins but nothing worth noting really. As for taste, they're OK. They sure don't taste like the greasy breakfast quesadillas or wraps that you get at fast food joints but they also don't contain all the fat and calories.***My BIG issue with this product is the packaging.*** The red box touts that they have 220 calories, 6 grams of fat, and are 4 "Weight Watchers Points". Nowhere on the front or back of the box does it say there are two servings. The box shows two quesadillas prepared and gives the distinct impression that one box is one serving. When you open the box, the myth is further perpetuated. The two quesadillas are packaged in one clear plastic envelope. If there were TWO servings, why would they be packaged together? What are you supposed to do with the second one? Just toss it back in the cardboard box without any plastic to protect it from freezer burn?I made both and ate both. I enjoyed my breakfast. I was comfortably full.I then looked at the tiny writing on the side panel where the nutrition facts are. Servings....2. WHAT? Serving size....1 quesadilla. HUH? I had inadvertently eaten 440 calories and 12 grams of fat in one sitting as well as killed my sodium intake all before noon. Ugh. Those bait and switchers!I can't imagine why Weight Watchers would not be more clear on the box that there are two servings inside and that a serving is ONE quesadilla. They even package the two together which I have never seen when there were two servings of anything in one box.I ended up skipping lunch today and eating a very light dinner to offset the carbs, calories, and fat I ate for breakfast. And it wasn't even that good. I could get TWO Denny's Fit Fare Veggie Omelet breakfasts for about the same calories and fat of two small **Weight Watchers Smart Ones Morning Express Breakfast Quesadillas**.These taste OK but I am too peeved at Weight  Watchers to eat them again. One wouldn't satisfy me and they are just too high in fat and sodium to eat on a regular basis. Besides, I would hate to orphan the second one in an open box with no plastic covering it until I was ready to eat it.***My Viewpoint*****Weight Watchers Smart Ones Morning Express Breakfast Quesadillas** taste decent and are much lower in calories and fat than traditional fast food or restaurant type breakfast wraps. They taste pretty good and are a good source of protein and fiber. They don't fill you up though so don't expect to feel like you ate a decent breakfast after eating one of these things. Still, they are better for you than nothing or fat laden fast food breakfasts. Just be sure to eat just ONE even though the package doesn't tell you to. Otherwise, Smart Ones aren't so smart to eat for breakfast. I'm going with ***3 stars*** based on value, taste, and overall nutrition. I am not even figuring in how misleading the box is. Grr.
