I have to admit that I am a sports fanatic. I am not however a technology fanatic. I love all the new advances and how they improve our lives in general but, I am not as tech savvy as I would like to be. My inspiration to purchase this particular type of television came from a sales associate at the department store. I was able to get a demonstration of how the television operated and a general instruction of how to hook it up. I recommend that you do that as well if you aren't all that tech savvy. The thing I immediately loved the most about the t.v. was the actually the high definition capability. The picture is shape, clear and crisp - and, perfect for Monday night football, my true love. Although I had a demonstration in the store, I still found it quite difficult to get the hang of it. Once I did though, I was able to access my subscription to netflix directly on my t.v. screen. It improved my overall experience in a major way. The built in sound system is really something special as well. It seem's like it offers more of a surround sound experience than the older not smart t.v. models. I love all of it's capabilities but, to be honest, I am still learning all the ins and outs. I have even learned how to shop online from my t.v. I was really overly impressed with myself as a result of that. Also, the t.v. came with free pair of 3D glasses. They are really cool for family movie nights. It was an added bonus that I also enjoy, it kind of sweetened the deal for me a bit. I love the television so far but as I mentioned earlier, if you are less than tech savvy, try a store that has the ability to offer free demonstrations.

Finally, I get to review the television I am currently using. After laying my hands on various different brands and sizes, this is the biggest one ever my husband and I ever got. This looks like the best television ever, with all the possible features. In today's modern world, everything needs to be smart, from person to phone to television. So here we are, a SMART family. It came with easy to follow instructions manual, was easy to set up and we were ready to watch it's smartness in no time. Though this is the first Smart Tv we have owned, it was pretty quick to understand it's features. I believe there are many other brands in the market which offer same features and quality as Vizio, the best thing about this is the price. It is very less when compared to other name brands and I am sure it works as well as they do. I will recommend this product to anyone I come across on a look out for Smart TV. I do not see letting go off this television anytime soon in future. Durability So far, so good!

All-in-all we do like this TV. It has more features then we will ever use. We did have some problems mounting it as we decided to do this ourselves. But, once it was hanging and all the connections hooked up it turned right on with no issues. It does seem to take a bit to see the pictures, but I guess most TV have some type of delay. We stream Netflix and, just recently, started watching YouTube directly from the menus on this smart TV. Also, we have hooked our laptop computer up to the set and was able to show our photos on the TV with very little problems. Sound Quality We are using the TV speakers, which are not know to be the best quality with any TV. We did not hook it up to external speakers. For better sound quality you might want to try using external speakers. Durability We have not had any problems with the set. No service calls, so far. Design Designs are in the eye of the beholder. I guess some people would like the design while others would not. This is a basic TV with a black boarder. Performance Would be happier if it was an instant-on TV, but you can't have everything.

We recently had to buy a new television for our main living room area. We did not want to spend a lot of money, but were in the market for a smart television that was LED. We decided on this Vizio 55 inch television. The price was very reasonable and it was very easy to set up, and was working within 10 minutes. It was a bit of a pain to get the color to where we wanted it. The color is very crisp and looks almost 3D. I love the smart TV options with the TV, and we all seem to use them all of the time. It is great to have Netflix for easy movie nights, along with local weather and you tube. I would highly recommend this Vizio television. Picture Quality The picture quality is great. We had a hard time at first trying to get the picture settings right, and I think it was because we were used to our old television and the terrible picture quality that it had. Design The design is great, it is very light and easy to set up. Performance This television is just what we needed, it has great picture quality, as well as extra features and apps that come with it being a smart television.

We needed a new tv for our family room but there were so many to choose from especially when you start to look at all the ads in the newspapers this time of the year. Well, we decided to look at the Vizio tv as many offices who have a tv usually have the brand of Vizio. My children had all said we would be wise also looking at their smart tv's as that was the latest in technology and could do so much. We shopped around to compare sizes and prices and settled on purchasing the 55 inch which is really a nice size screen, not too big and not too small. The picture is great, the sound is just right, and the size is definitely good too. This tv is not only a smart tv but it actually look smart especially in a room that can fit the size. I really like the brand as it definitely is a trusted brand for a good number of years. The next time you are looking for a new tv look at Vizio and especially the 55 inch size. The picture quality is really nice as it makes you feel you are really a part of the movie you are watching. I would definitely recommend this tv as it is a really good investment and enjoyment to have.

Very good value for the price. the screen is crystal clear and the 3D works great with the glasses. The smart menu is very easy to navigate. Youtube, MGO and Netflix work very well with this TV. The only negative for me was the speakers are a little on the weakside and cannot go nearly as loud as some other brand TV's. IF you use a sterio speaker setup this should not be an issue. I have had the TV for 3 months and the only minor problem is the sound will go completely away. Once the channel is changed it comes right back. It has only happened a few times and it has only happened on the sports channels. Picture Quality The picture is very nice. It i very clear and the HD is crystal clear. I would say this has one of the best pictures i have seen on a TV for it size. The angle at which you view the TV is also very clear. Some other TVs lose the picture once you start to step to the side of the screen or sit in a location other than directly in front of the TV. this TV has no fuzzy view spots from around the room. Sound Quality The sound quality would be the only negative for this TV. the speakers seem rather weak when compared to other TVs. If you use a seperate speaker setup this should not be an issue. the only problem i have had with the TV is the sound completely goes away on a few occasions but turning the channel brings it right back. this has also only happened on the ESPN channel. Durability Have only had the TV for 3 months but so far seems very durable. nothing has broke or quit working. the TV itself seems very strong and could be mounted with no worries. the setup comes with a stand and it seems very stable and does not move at all. Design The design is very nice, It has a sleek elegant look. I would say this TV looks very good on the Glass stand we have. the ultra thin profile fits nicely close to the wall but still hides all the cables from sight. Performance Very good performance, Does it does everything very fast with no wait. When turning the TV on there is a little bit of a wait but that is expected. During operation you can quickly change channels as well as applications like internet and using programs like Youtube, MGO and Netflix. the 3D ability is also very easy to start up and get you going in a 3D movie.

This TV is spectacular! It feels like you are right in the action. I have spent the last week stuck to this TV because I can't take my eyes off it! When you watch shows the quality is so good that you have to marvel at the craftsmanship it took to create it. Picture Quality Seriously, everything you watch on it looks like a soap opera. The quality is so wonderful that the people look like they are right in front of you. It's like they are life sized and in the room with you because the screen is so big. I'm excited to see an action movie on it! I haven't yet, but know it will be unspeakably wonderful. In summary, if you have the funds, buy this TV right now! Sound Quality I haven't had any issues with this. It sounds clear and how it should. The sound can go loud or soft without impacting the quality of sound. Durability I don't for-see a problem happening. Design It's beautiful and a great addition to my home. Performance The remote and controls are easy to maneuver. The overall performance of this TV is phenomenal.

Vizio does not support their equipment! I got the M3D550KDE out of box. It would not receive any channels right out of the box. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the antenna jack. Vizio support said that I had to use tools to break the jack off and that they would not replace the TV. Vizio would not even listen to what I told them. This was a TV just out of box. I should have called them, right away. I did not because i had troubles with the connection with another TV that I had been using. I thought that I would try with an antenna since I am in the St. Louis region. The antenna did not work either but I could run 3D movies with a great picture. I did get a little heated with the people at Vizio, who wouldn't after paying that much for a tv that did not work out of box. I am a electronic technician. I sodered a cable that was too stiff and the tv did work for a short time which proved as a defect with the television. But because it was too stiff of a wire, it broke off and because that had cause to much damage to the board. Top recommendation is to stay away from this TV!!!!! Picture Quality excellent picture quality! Sound Quality Very good sound! Durability Did not work out of box Design The placement of the antenna jack was very difficult to get in and attach the cable. Performance I was amazed by the 3D movies!

It's a smart tv for a reason. It has everything you need, and can be easily located and used. You can find anything including movies, television shows, you tube videos, music, 3D movie capabilities. I mean EVERYTHING! Picture Quality Excellent High Definition picture quality. We actually have two VIZIO HD televisions. Sound Quality Can adjust speakers to your specifications. Whatever type of programming you are watching there is an adjustment just for it. Durability Extremely durable. A knife accidentally landed on the screen of one our televisions about a year ago and its still going strong! Design Fits anywhere you want to place it and is very lightweight. Even though it is a large screen television it doesn't seem bulky at all. Performance Have had no problems whatsoever with either television. Would more than likely purchase VIZIO television again! Even considering a VIZIO computer. Their website is extremely interesting.

First tv in my first home, simply amazing. I have fallen in love with this and makes feel speechless. The tv is kind of difficult to figure out how to work at first because its got all sorts of thing. I never thought I would have a 3d television but I must say its a great investment. it took me a while to realize that you don't just 3d movies, you can watch anything in 3d and let me say its so amazing for a child because it keeps them occupied when you are trying to get things done. I have even been able to play video games in 3d. so worth the investment. I also love that i can surf the web while laying on my couch and get videos off of youtube to keep me busy. would recommend anyone to get this!
