We bought our Samsung 51 inch TV at Best buy for a great price. I was highly impressed with the quality of this thing. It isn't too big or bulky for a smaller living room stand, yet big enough for those Monday night football parties. The TV shows really "pop out" at you (in a good way that is) It almost looks as if you are in the movie. It was a great buy and for all the TV lovers I would really suggest checking this TV out, it's great! Picture Quality The picture is always beautiful. Nice and bright screen, the picture is crystal clear it looks as if you could jump right through and enter the movie. Sound Quality The sound quality I would say is standard. We usually have it in the 20's because the speakers on the TV are a bit small. Durability Very durable and sturdy. We have had a bunch of rowdy men over for Football games, not once has the TV even budged. Design Very sleek and elegant looking, it is sure to match with any living room decor. Performance It has never failed us. Great TV, great performance.

I love this TV. The sound and picture quality are amazing, especially if you're using your HD channels.The plugs to connect various electronic devices (cable box, WII, etc.) are located on the side of the TV which made it easy to set up. We mounted ours on the wall and it's still easy to access. I was afraid mounting it on the wall would be hard, but it was very easy to do. My teenage son and I can easily remove the TV from the wall and put it back up in a matter of seconds. Picture Quality Crystal clear picture. Sound Quality Great sound! It can go up really loud (much louder than anyone would need, I think) and it is still very clear. Design Well designed. I love how I can plug and unplug my laptop into the TV to review a PowerPoint presentation in seconds. The remote is well designed and easy to use as well. The source button is located on the very top of the remote next to the power button which makes it very easy for even my younger kids to change from TV to the Wii without needing my assistance. Performance Haven't had any issues with this TV.

I am extremely impressed with this television, it's size is just big enough for watching movies like your in a theater, and the sound is excellent, and almost enough to not need a sound bar to extend the sound and performance of quality of sound during movies and gaming. I have this tv in my living room, and it is used for movies and gaming, since this tv was bought, my home has become to go to place for movie, sport and entertianment amongst my friends and my sons, so my advice to future comsumers, buy a samsung flat screen tv, regardless of size these tvs are top notch, and are in my opinion the best on the market. We purchased a Samsung 51" Plasma HDTV on Black Friday along with a Samsung sound system. Our previous big screen TV was a Sony and while we were happy with that TV, it was old and the replacement bulbs had gotten too expensive. We decided to go with a different brand this time. We watched the TV in the store before purchasing it and were talked into buying the accompanying Samsung sound system. The next morning my husband assembled the base and set up the TV. The TV is very light weight and easy to carry despite its size. The set up was easy, but once we turned it on, we though we might have to take it back. The screen was very dark. Then we discovered the "light cell" on the menu screen. Once we upped the light cell settings one notch, the color was brilliant. The set has three USB ports to attach computers or game systems. It also has your standard audio/video jacks for older game systems, cameras, etc. We have watched more television over the past few days than we have in months.

We love our new television. We didn't know what we were missing with our "old-school" tube television. Watching our shows is so much clearer. Watching football and other sports has never been better than with this tv. It brings the people/action to life. It is also much bigger than our last television. It took a bit to get used to people on the screen being as large as life. It is easier to watch sports and see what is going on in the game. We don't even have cable television and I feel that we are getting the benefit of the television. We get the local channels through an antenna. I would definitely recommend this television to anyone that is looking to upgrade from an old school tube television. It is also a reasonable price for a great picture. It is probably even better if you get cable and get HD channels. Movies would be great on this television. Cable, satellite or just antenna this tv is great for anyone.

I'm not sure who said that LCD/LED tv's are better. I have 2 LCD and 1 LED and it doesn't even compare to the picture on the Samsung Plasma. The picture, when watching, feels like you are there. Picture Quality Fantastic picture. Sound Quality Very good. Louder than any of my other tv's. Durability I've had this since Thanksgiving so can't really determine how long the tv will last. Design Standard flat screen with base. Performance I can't believe how much I love this plasma. Will be buying Samsung again.

I wanted to talk about my samsung Hd television because it is the greatest one we have ever had. It has a lot of feature's on it but i can't remember them all without looking for the book. but if you have any questions about it i will find the answer for you.  But i have never been more happy with a television like this one, and the color is so picture perfect that its hard to believe how the technology has gotten so wonderful. And the big screen it has, it is hard to watch anything smaller and it is easy to get spoiled. but we do watch a lot of movies so it is worth it, and with the theaters being so high priced this is the better way to go. And you can have your popcorn and soda at a much much lower cost then going to the movies. But when you play your old VCR tapes, boy what a change of color its almost shocking. this is the first samsung television set we have had i will more then likely buy another one, maybe not a bigger screen but the brand name for sure. So i do hope this helps some with the review i wrote and i do know that i am leaving some things out but i hope this is some help for you.
