I bought this self propelled mower after using a push propelled mower. The push propelled mower wasn't really useful on steep inclines because it didn't have any traction up an incline. So this self propelled mower did great on steep inclines because it had enough power to easily overcome the incline. The speed can also be adjusted to work on the declines. The overall function of the self propelled motor is awesome. It can be easily adjusted so that one can leisurely walk behind the mower and not struggle with the mower. It also has a key start so that one doesn't have to struggle with the starting cord to start it. The starting cord is also present so that one can start the mower without the key. The mulcher does its job and the included bag collects all the necessary grass clippings. The only con to the bag is it's small capacity. I had to do numerous trips to empty it. It is a litttle pricey but well worth it. Overall, I would recommend this mower to anybody looking for a new mower.
