I have been searching for a good body butter for my overly dry skin during the summer and the winter time. I normally love to try samples of a product first before I buy them, but then when I went to the stores and saw this on the selves, I had to try it. I mean, who could beat this price! Very affordable and a little goes a long way. I am a type of person who dislike overpowering scents and also the sticky sensation that some body butter's leave behind, but this product is completely different! it goes on smooth, leaving a healthy glow/shine to my skin and the scent is just so soothing and relaxing! I normally apply this product on my skin right after my shower or after I shaved my legs so that my skin could absorb the body butter better. A thing to note: i have sensitive skin so most lotions/creams/butter's will leave horrible bumps on my skin. I don't think I will ever change from another body butter every again!

My mom bought me a couple Tree Hut Body Butters - [Tahitian Grass Shea Body Butter][1] and **Hawaiian Kukui Shea Body Butter.**  I tend to prefer fruity or citrus scents over all others, so I'm really surprised at how much I enjoy the Hawaiian Kukui scent. If you've ever been to Hawaii, you have probably seen the bracelets and necklaces made out of large, black nuts that are strung together. Those are kukui nuts.  They empty out the shell to make the jewelry, and it is very nice looking.  I lived in Hawaii for a couple years, and I still have my nostalgic bracelet. **Tree Hut Hawaiian Kukui Shea Body Butter** is made with high-quality, moisturizing ingredients, and it is also paraben-free, petroleum-free and not tested on animals. Like most nuts, kukui nuts are very moisturizing because they are filled with natural oils.  Combine the kukui nut oils with shea butter, cocoa butter, other natural oils, and other ingredients, and you have a super moisturizing body butter. I surprised myself by liking the scent of **Tree Hut Hawaiian Kukui Shea Body Butter**, since it's not my normal fragrance type, but I'm glad I have this to change it up a little bit.  Thanks again, mom! It smells like nuts and vanilla, and has a rich, sensual smell to it. It does not have a too sweet or artificial scent to it, it smells warm and earthy - if that's even a description you can picture. Absorption The feeling when you first apply it is a little sticky. It does rub in eventually though. Effectiveness It leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized for hours and hours. I like to put it on my shaved legs, because they are so silky for the rest of the day.
