I got this computer almost four years ago and it is running perfectly fine.  In fact, I am still using the original battery for it.  I have had to replace the charge cord for it multiple times, but I mostly run it on AC power instead of battery power, just to prolong the battery life.  It is very user friendly and me, being computer-challenged, I can figure everything out on it just fine.  It does come with some trial versions of some very stupid games, but you can just uninstall them and make more room.  I did purchase more memory for it, only because I have multiple Sims games that take up more room.  And even though it is not a 'powerful desktop', it still plays games just fine and I have not had any problems whatsoever.  Honestly, going from my old desktop to this laptop is a major, major upgrade.  Even this four year old computer has a great wifi card built in to it and almost always has a signal, so I can always access the internet just fine.  Even the customer service was helpful (and friendly and English!). I would definitely consider purchasing another Toshiba laptop in the future.

     My laptop has become my companion, my entertainment, and my brain builder. In the years I've owned it, this Toshiba has operated flawlessly. Just in case I needed help, the computer's manual is on the computer. The monitor gives a bright readable display of whatever I get into either on the Web or in Office. The sound is clear so listening to music is a pleasure. I can play a DVD or watch videos online. The laptop has a built-in controller, but because I'm too old to change I added a wireless mouse. I hope one day to get proficient with the built-in controller.      The keyboard is smooth and quiet. The card reader makes downloading pictures from my digital camera very easy. Having front access for my earphones and mike is convenient. Two USB ports on the front right of the keyboard makes connecting accessories a snap. When closed it has a sleek black case. When open, it has all I need to connect with the Internet and all the power to record my thoughts about what I learn from surfing the Web.

Toshiba's satellite laptop is easy to use take anywhere, i love mine after having a regular computer to where you had to sit in one place to use this one i take with me even in car with my internet i check my email also i can put my sd card from camera and view my pictures or plug my gps into it i am still learning.
