several of the Toshiba add-ons to the operating system function very poorly.  The most frustrating is the system that tells you when your battery is in need of recharging.  It doesn't matter what parameters I select in the control panel.  I almost never see the pop-ups that warn that the battery is near the end or the one that says it is critical.  But it doesn't matter.  Even if I see either of them and immediately plug it in (and I mean IMMEDIATELY) the computer still shuts down.
