I ordered this along with the Teavana Gift Set and I was really glad to have done that! It has preset buttons for the different type of teas or even you can set up how long the timer could be other than what is preset. Like the product on the website says, it sure takes the guesswork out of making a perfect tea. It was larger than I thought it would be! That's okay. I like that it can be put on the fridge or squeeze the clip on the back far enough and it becomes a stand. I got confused after a while but it doesn't seem to turn off. Or maybe one of those where after no use, it autmoatically turns off? No idea. I'm not sure if the battery is replaceable. If it's any of the timer like I have, it has not expired and I've had them 4 years or so. I hope it will stand to the test of times. So far, I LOVE it! I've only had it less than 5 hours...
