I purchase this microwave on sale because it was the cheapest one I could find. It has great features like a popcorn sensor button which cooks popcorn perfectly and it continues to beep every two minutes or so if the timer has finished cooking and you haven't yet taken out your food. This latter feature is great because you'll no longer forget about things you left in the microwave! I also was happy that this model of microwave came with a button to defrost meat, which is always time consuming and requires a certain level of planning for dinner at the start of the day. It's not the best defrost setting I've used but it gets the job done. It also has a button for baking potatoes, reheating leftovers and more. I love that door of the microwave has an actual handle that you use to open the microwave instead of a release button to send the door flying at you. I'm very happy with my decision to purchase this and it is a great value given all the features it comes with and the fact that it's still working so well after taking six months of student use and abuse.
