My thick, long and frizzy hair seemed to be too much of a challenge for a  'regular' dryer to handle. I have been searching for a professional hair dryer for a while now and the Solano 3500 (1800 Watt Lite Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Dryer) came at my hair dresser's recommendation. **Why the Solano 3500 is more than I could have hoped for:** - This dryer has not only **cut my drying time by half**, but also leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny. - I love the **multiple temperature and fan settings** available. The dryer is definitely powerful but does not get too hot. This helps prevents my hair from getting damaged and brittlle. - It truly is **light weight**. The brand claims that the dryer is lighter than a bottle of water--I totally agree! While using other dryers, I found that my arms would get tired waiting for my hair to dry completely. Granted that this dryer is on the expensive side, but I definitely believe it is worth the investment!
