The price was great when I bought my singer 7422 sewing machine. It sews perfectly and makes everything look professional. It sews heavier fabrics and even harder types of fabrics that other machines won't sew. It has 30 stitch patterns and 80 stitch functions. It is a drop in bobbin with a clear plate so you can see how much thread you have left on the bobbin. It is easy to purchase more bobbins if needed. It comes with an automatic needle threader which is great if you can't see the opening in the needle very well. It has 13 needle positions. The LED light isn't very bright, but it is okay if used in a well lit room. I would definitely recommend it to others, it is very easy to thread and would even be great for a novice sewer. The Singer advance sewing machine I purchased 2  years ago as a refurbushed machine has served me well.  I make quilted purses and ohter things to sell locally and online , so I needed something reliable.  My business depends my sewing machine.  I would definitly by this  sewing again if I were iin need of a new machine.  I would also recommend it to other sewing lovers. My mother had an old tredle machine made by Singer, and other Singer Machines over the years; they trusted, relaible machines.
