I was really happy to get sachets of the Simply U Color Shine Shampoo and Conditioner in the mail. I wanted to use them together to see how they worked. I cut the top off the 0.25 fluid ounce (7.4 ml) sachet of shampoo. I then got into the shower, wet my hair, and then squeezed the shampoo into the palm of my hand. I was surprised at how little there was. Most sachets have 0.34 fluid ounce. I dabbed it over my hair to try and stretch it. The smell was really light, and slightly fruity. I added more water to my hair, and tried to get a lather with it. However, there just wasn't enough shampoo. I left the shampoo on for a few minutes before rinsing it. I then used the Simply U conditioner, which was rich and thick. After styling my hair, I have to say that the Color Shine Shampoo did keep my blonde highlights from getting brassy. My hair looked okay, but it is impossible to say how well the shampoo worked, when the sample is not enough, to complete the wash. Effectiveness Really hard to tell as my hair didn't have enough shampoo. Scent Loved it. Really light and slightly fruity.
