I bought this shop vac a few years ago on a good Black Friday Sale. It was easy to set up, and it has an extremely powerful suction. It is easy to switch between wet and dry, and it typically can pull dirt out of hard to reach areas. But it definitely has a few downsides. I do not use it overly often (less than every month), and already the switch is extremely stiff and feels like it will break soon. On top of that, the filter does not stay in place well. It only has a plastic ring to hold it on, and the ring does not clip on at all. So it falls off inside the vacuum (even during normal use). When it falls off,dust from the tank is thrown back out the other end of the vacuum. If you're using it outside (such as to clean out a vehicle), then it is not that big of a deal. But if you are using it inside the house or in the garage, then it can make a worse mess than when you started.
