Was not wow'ed by the quality of the compact but I purchased mine on sale so for the price, it was a decent enough value. As a woman with combination skin, I was happy with the consistency of the powder but the finish was not as matte or smooth as I'd hope for it to be, also wasn't a huge fan of the color options since my I have to blend the "tan" over my lighter shade of foundation and use this more as a contouring powder since it is half a shade too dark for me and the shade I purchased was more brown than yellow based but the compact did say warm, so that's my bad. All in all, a good foundation but wouldn't wear it alone. With primer and setting powder it's a winner but not for all skin types or tones.

I got this powder in "light" and I have to say, it is the best powder foundation I have ever used! I was so satisfied with the coverage it gave me and it was totally worth the money. I actually bought 3 of them on my next visit, because they are my fave! I highly recommend this product, because 1) it makes your skin look FLAWLESS, truly flawless. 2) It doesn't make you breakout like a lot of other makeup does (or at least to me it didn't!) and 3) It will last you a good while! My first one lasted me about legit 4 months! Like, I said, this is amazing makeup. Sadly, they are currently out of stock and I hope they get more ASAP! I hope this review helps for the future girls! It truly covers EVERY flaw on your face, which mostly every girl wants right ? Another great thing about this foundation is that it gives you full coverage for HOURS out of the day and you really only need to re-apply it once!

First of all, i'm giving this a 4 because of the sucky case! I Love this powder, but i hate the case. I've been using this powder for about a year and each of the four powders i've bought, breaks apart. The top of the case comes off, and so i can't carry it anywhere because it can get messy. Other than the top of the case breaking off, the powder works great. It has SPF, it's good coverage, not oily and lasts through out most of the day. Oh and each powder lasts usually about two months or so, thats using it everyday.

This is my favorite powder.  Looks natural going on while still covering up some minor skin damage.  I love it so much I buy it even though I HATE THE CASE!  This is my 3rd one and everyone has broken.  The top breaks right off so it is just sitting on the powder.  If that was fixed, I'd give it 5 stars.

Let me start by saying I have very dry skin and my skin does not accept makeup very well. I really can't wear liquid foundation b/c it just cakes on top of my skin instead of absorbing in and looking natural. For a few years I have used Merle Norman's powder foundation and it was of the only things I have tried that looks good. I have been wanting to switch to mineral makeup and b/c I have had luck with it the past (tried E.L.F. brand and it was surprisingly good) but didn't want to spend the money for bare escentuals so I tried this. I really, really wanted to love it. The first problem is that although I had a girl working there match me to a color and although it looked good on a small spot in the store, when I applied it all over it was way too light, but the next shade would have been too dark. The biggest problem is that it does the same thing that liquid foundation does to my skin - it just cakes up on top, looking unnatural. I should mention that I only use moisturizer beforehand, maybe a primer would help. I do like the ease of the compact and the fact that it's not loose so I can take it with me. Wish I would have exchanged it right after I bought it - I spent the money and feel like I need to keep using it.

I use this foundation nearly daily, especially in summer when I'm out in the sun.  I was able to find my perfect color, and it always blends well.  There are lots of different shades for all different skin tones.  It looks very natural and light, but it hides blemishes and little imperfections.  I like that it doesn't cake onto your skin- it's just a thin little layer that makes your skin look nicer and more even.  The compact is handy because I can keep it in my bag for touch-ups, and I don't have to keep a separate mirror with me.  I love that it has SPF 10 because then I can go out in the sun for a while without worrying about getting burnt.  It has good coverage and is very subtle.   It won't cover everything (pimples, etc.) but with a little concealer it works just fine.  Also, if you're going to be out in the sun for a long time, this isn't enough- it's just good for average time spent walking outside.  This is a perfect choice for a basic, daily foundation.

I baught this products some time ago and I've used it for a whole month. Overall this is an excellent product. I really really wanted to love it and adopt it but unfortunately I came to the conclusion that this product is very good, just not for me **sigh**. Let me explain. What I love best about this foundation is the composition : No paraben, no fragrance, no allergen, oil free, no talc. Honestly you can't doo much better than that (and for this price !). I have very sensitive skin and most face products make me break out. With this one... nothing. Not a single spot or dry patch. No reaction at all !!! The coverage isn't the best but I have quite a clear skin so it wasn't much of a problem. As I said at this point I really tried to use it again and again but there was one major problem. I LOOKED FAKE. I mean the thing is not natural at all. You wear it and it really looks like your wearing makeup. It leaves a powdery residue on my skin which is really unbecoming (and I apply it with a kabuki brush so imagine with the sponge !!). I couldn't stand looking at myself in the mirror. As I said I had to stop using it whereas it was the ONE face product my skin loved the most.
