The Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat is a great top coat to preserve a fabulous manicure. The only downside I experienced was from the acrylic. I am sensitive/allergic to acrylic so wherever the polish barely touched my skin or cuticle area, I eventually (after about 20 minutes) experienced itching, redness, and a bit of swelling. This was my fault because I didn't realize acrylic was in it. If you are sensitive to latex then you will probably be sensitive to acrylic as well, so be careful!

Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat is a classic home manicure must. I've been using this stuff since I was a kid, sneaking it from my mom's drawer. It's been around forever. This is because it's simple, no frills, and works well. It can be used as a top coat or on it's own as clear polish. If it's not broke, don't fix it. This top coat formula has been around for a long time, and I'm sure it will be around for a long time to come.

This is very effective in producing healthy and chip-free nails!  I would definintely recommend it!  I tried this product about a week ago and applied it to my dry nails.  I have noticed a drastic change to my nails and how strong they are now, after using the product! They look very natural and they are ready to handle any rough situations!

Sally Hansen has great affordable products. There nail products work great ! If you wants great looking nails at a great price try sally hansens products!! I have used there products for many years. I have always had brittle nails until i used sally hansen products. Not anymore , i am glad there is such a product at bargain prices that really work. I never buy expensive products when there is affordable products that really work!!

I love this product!  When I go to have my nails done, usually every 3-4 weeks, I have my manicurist put it on as a top coat.   During the time when I have to take care of my nails myself,  I always put on a coat to keep my nails fresh and polished. This product allows me to not have to think about how my nails look during the time when I can't or don't have the opportunity to have my nails done in a timely manner.  As I said before, it keeps my nails looking fresh and polished all the time! I can't be without this product!

With all of the current new brands of nail polish on the market, such as Opi and Essie, believe me I have tried them all. To me, Sally Hansen is the bomb. Not only is Sally Hansen one of the oldest brands, but to me it is one of the cheapest and still the best. Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat goes on smooth and dries extremely fast. My job as a Court Stenographer has me typing day and night. I clean my dishes by hand as well, but when I tried other brands of Top Coats they left my nail polish chippy even after one day. To decrease the chipping I used latex gloves. Now, when I use Sally Hansen Acrylic Top Coat over any brand of nail polish, cheaper store brands more often that not, I do not have chipped nails immediately and I don't wear the latex gloves while doing dishes either!

I am not a fan of nail polish colors, and even though the Sally Hansen No-Chip Acrylic Top Coat is designed to be used over the top of other polishes, I use it by itself. And I have to say, it's not too bad of a product. I've tried a lot of clear nail polishes, and haven't had much success with keeping them on without finding cracks and chips within a day or two. While this polish isn't perfect, it does stay on for a few days longer without chipping than other clear top coats that I have tried. I have also found that putting two coats of this polish on seems to almost double the length of wear. It's just something natural that freshens up the look of my nails a little bit. I would recommend this product, just because there are not many great clear polishes out there, and the Sally Hansen No-Chip Acrylic Top Coat does exceed many other similar polishes. It is also affordable, so overall not a bad product to try!

My polish still chips off in a day or two. **Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat**This product is meant to be used over nail polish to seal the color and add shine to the nails. The claims are that it will ward off chipping and strengthen nails with acrylic.** ** **My Experience** This glass bottle of clear top coat smells strongly of whatever nail polish smells like. It's really not pleasant. I apply it over dried nail polish in the hopes that my nail polish will not chip as fast as usual. After the product dries, my nails are shiny and they do resist chipping for a day or two. But after that, forget it. My nail polish will chip and peel like always. Still, this product definitely helps to seal the polish and gives me a day or two when normally my nail polish starts to fade away almost the moment I finish polishing them. As far as strengthening my nails, I don't know. I don't see much in that area. I have nails that will grow really long, then start breaking and snagging and I end up cutting them all the way down and starting over. My nails will never be hard and long and this top coat has not done much to make me believe otherwise. Still for a bit over four bucks, this does prolong manicures for a while and shines up my nails. I will continue using it unless I find something better.  **My Viewpoint** **Sally Hansen No Chip Acrylic Top Coat **is a decent top coat to shine the nails and seal in color. While my polish starts chipping a day or two after I apply it, others I know manage to get many days from a manicure. I guess I am just very rough on my hands and nails. This doesn't give miracle results but is better than polish alone and does make my nails shiny and glossy. It's inexpensive for a big .45 ounce bottle so I will continue to use it. ***I give it 3 stars***. It's an average top coat that works for a while then succumbs and allows my nail polish to chip and my nails to break.
