The Ryobi P201 drill is a really versatle tool.  Ryobi makes an 18 Volt rechargable battery system with a variety of tools.  Since just after Katrina hit in 2005, I have been using Ryobi battery operated tools for most of the work aroud the house.  P201 can be used as a drill, nut driver, screw driver or for a variety of other tools.  It has adjustable torque so you can have the right power for the job.  I have used to for everything from hanging cabinets to replacing fence boards.  It is light enough that my wife was able to use it to help with the fence and other projects.  It is very easy and fast to replace bits.  Being battery operated, I don't have to fight with a lot of extension cord.  I have several batteries and two chargers to use with several Ryobi tools and am assured of always having power available.  The batteries can be charged on a portable generator if needed and the tools can be used without being tethered to the power source.  Because it is battery operated, it can be used in areas where power is not available, just be sure to charge all the batteries before doing work.  I rely on Ryobi tools.  I hope I never have to use them to clean up and repair after another hurricane, but I know they are available.

I bought this Ryobi drill in a kit that came with 3 other tools that are interchangable and I love it. There are so many extra features and products you can get to interchange with the batteries and they last forever after you charge them. I have used this drill to change about 2500 locks because that is part of my job, I also use it around my home. I have had about 10 different cordless drills over the years and I have to say this is the best one thus far. I would stronly recocomend it to any proffesional or just an at home fixer. It came with a circular saw, a sawsall, and a flashlight in its own carrying case. I bought the radio seprate, and that too is amazing. The rechargable batteries (it came with 2) charge quickly and last all day for me and I sometimes work 12 hours and use my drill at least 4 hours in the day. If you're in the market for a new cordless drill, this is definately the one to get!

This drill was a splurge my husband and I made about two months ago. We've just moved into a new house and love having this handy tool around. It works so quickly and efficiently. The drill comes with it's own bits, but you can also use bits you have already. So, it's versatile. It also charges quickly and stays charged for several hours. We love having this around so that we don't have to manually screw things when putting together some of our new furniture. Excellent purchase!
