My 8 year old was diagnosed as adhd about 18 months and has taken stimulant medication to help him focus.  His focus had improved slightly, but he was getting in trouble at school very often due to him being aggressive: kicking or hitting people, screaming, ripping things, breaking things, once he even punched another boy in his privates.  Since beginning the Risperidone (he takes on tablet in the morning before school and one at dinner time) this has improved drastically.  He sometimes seems very sleepy, but nothing that has affected his funtioning.
