I really loved this product. When I opened it, the smell was amazing. Usually I have to use more than a quarter size for my hair but this you can you less than that. It foams well and cleans well too. Rinse's easily, unlike some of the other brands that I feel I am rinsing my hair for an hour. The only con is on me because I think I just needed another type for my hair. It made my ends dryer.

I recently tried the travel size of this product and so far I like it and think it works well. It left my hair feeling soft instead of dry. This is made with sugar instead of salt so it feels so much better in your hair and doesn't leave it crunchy like a salt spray. I received the Pureology Vinegar Hair Rinse as a complementary sample in exchange for my honest opinion. After using both foil packets last week, I plan to purchase this product in the near future. I have recommended it to all my friends because it works so well!!! The buildup of product had dulled my hair and made it more oily than I realized! I love how gentle this rinse is and how my hair shined after using it!!

I've tried a good portion of the Pureology product line and found mixed. On the plus side, the first thing to note is the scent. All of their products are fantastically scented. They're modern and earthy, with a herb and spice profile. They're not overly sweet or feminine and don't compete with my perfume, which I really like. If they just sold their scents as home products I'd snap them up in a heartbeat. Also on the plus side is their delivery on formula promises. When they say voluminous, they mean it. If they promise hydration, you'll get it. Also worth noting is that these are highly concentrated formulas. I've been using the same bottle of their ultimate hold hair spray for almost a year and I'm not sure I've even made a dent in it. The same goes for the shampoo/conditioner. I have thin hair but very long hair; a drop about the size of a penny does my whole head easily. A little bit really does go a long way. Where these products fall short is on their promise of color protection. I found that my hair color faded just as fast (or maybe even faster) using these products as it did with other high quality hair care. I might come back to Pureology at some point if I can't find another hair care line that I like better. I like their scent, concentration qualities, and their vegan cause.

Received a full-sized sample of both the Pureology serious colour care antifade complex shampoo and conditioner bottles.  Pretty exciting day to get the full sizes!  When I finally finished the products I had been using and got around to trying out the Pureology brand, I'm wondering if they had an expiration date or should have been kept in the refrigerator.  The shampoo stinks horribly and the conditioner isn't much better.  Double the trouble when I find that the conditioner doesn't have much conditioning affect on my hair and I have to re-condition with my regular product.  Can't recommend either of these and won't be buying them.  Just threw the bottles out, what a waste.

I got a whole line of styling products for free direct from Pureology.  I wasn't expecting much.  I didn't even know where I could buy it, whether it be a drug store or a salon. I am amazed!  I got full size bottles of all the Colour Stylist products and I absolutely Love them!  My hair is fine and tends to be dry because I color it.  I usually use Aveda products.  i like to try others but seem to keep going back to Aveda.  But I will keep using Pureology!  The scent is nice, simple, and subtle.  That seems to be the downfall of a lot of products out there.  The coolest thing is they are all vegan and sulfate free! These products do not weigh my hair down, and give me lots and lots of shine!  They make my hair feel very soft too.  My hair is getting curlier over time so I like to enhance that. I get a lot of body when I do.  My hair was straight as a kid.  I will continue to use these products.  They are just what I was looking for!!!

 know it can't be just me. I'm not the only one on this earth with THIS hair.I mean, it is healthy, thick, has plenty of natural volume. It's wavy and strong. It's all the things that some people really desire in hair.However, it also have TOO much volume. The slightest hint of humidity makes it a fuzzball equal to a statically charged kitten. It is heavy and cumbersome.Many people admire it. But they don't have to fight it every morning. Fight its tendencies to do whatever it wants to and make me bow to its will. Each day I have to accept that it will do whatever it will do, and I must accommodate it.When I get my hair cut and styled, they have products that seem to do the trick. Salon-priced products that I am not successful at using in a similar manner. So I go to the local buy-all store and find something that is supposed to control frizzies, smooth flyaways, tame my hair. You know what it does? Goop it up.Seriously...all of the stuff I have bought in the past does one of two things: 1. Doesn't work AT ALL. 2. Gunks up my hair so badly that it looks like I haven't washed it in 2 weeks. I'm never satisfied.And I don't like spending 30 minutes in the morning just to make the straightening iron actually straighten my hair. In the direction that I want it to be straight (ie down and not sideways).Is there nothing on earth that will work?In fact...there is. I found it. And I'm going to share this tip with you.Introducing Pureology SuperSmooth System. The application was simple, just as described on the bottle. The serum seemed lightweight and not at all sticky or gooey. It was more like a gel.I applied it evenly through my hair and began drying. It seemed that my hair was already more tame while blow drying, but I didn't want to assume that just because I was using a new product that was supposed to work. As soon as the hair was dry, I grabbed the brush I use to style with and the difference was obvious. My hair was lying flat. It wasn't "flat" with frizzies jutting out all over the top of my head. It was truly flat. And not thick, heavy, or dirty feeling at all. It felt like there was something in it, but I think that is only because I knew was my hair was "supposed" to feel like. I don't know that anyone else touching my hair would have noticed!I then started in with the flat iron. My new nemesis best friend since I've gone to a shorter hair style. My style that forces me to get up 20 minutes earlier than previously because I must force coax my hair into doing what it was cut to do.As soon as I was done with the flat iron, I was really surprised.It seriously looked like it had in the salon.Light and airy (not weighted down in product), straight and non-frizzy, and something that didn't make me cringe when I ran my fingers through.Amazing, I tell you.

I am a hair stylist at a salon and can say that I recommend very few pureology products to my clients.  I don't like the smell of any of them and I know they are all natural so the smell is without perfumes, but I just don't like it.  The only product in the entire line that I think is worth the money  is the texture twist.  I love that for fun, short piecey styles!  I think the rest of the line is VERY overpriced and not worth the high cost.  The bottles are itsy-bitsy also so you don't get hardly product for the expensive price.  Their nanoworks shampoo/conditioner is outrageously priced and no matter how good they claim it is.... it really isn't all that.  There are sooo many products out their that make your hair feel better then this, at a third of the cost.  I also am an esthetician and I have clients come to me all the time because they can't stop breaking out around their hairline and this product line is so rich that it causes numerous people to have acne.
