I have 2 children of my own but we have had many children pass through our home. I am an in-home daycare provider so I know a lot about what works with kiddos and what does not. This is a product that does! These cups do not need an insert. When my son was young, you had to buy the cups that had valves in the top. They worked well and they also didn't spill but you had to keep track of the stopper. Not to mention if you didn't soak them or clean them properly, they could mildew. Eventually over time, the cup would still be very usable but you might only have one stopper or valve remaining. When my daughter was born, six and a half years later, I wanted a cup that was still spill proof and sturdy but didn't want to have to buy the valves all the time. I found the answer in this cup! Not only does it have several different designs to choose from, you just fill and go! That is it. You can throw them in the dishwasher and out they come, nice and clean and ready to use again. I used this brand all the way through toddler hood and into the preschool years with my daughter and now I still buy them for use for my daycare kiddo. I don't have to worry about stoppers or leaks of any kind. I just fill them up, screw on the lid and off we go to the next thing!

playtex disney sippy cups i have mixed feelings on. first the good lids go on tight cup has been dropped more time than i would want to count and they keep liquids colder longer, but now for what needs help... the cups i bought my grandson dripped and made puddles on cough and carpet. also the disney design washed off after four days. but as far as reconmending theese to others i have mixed feelings.

These cups are great. I have 3 boys and have tried just about every sippy cup on the market trying to find one that doesn't leak and is easy to clean. These are the best by far. They use a valve which is totally easy to pop out for cleaning and if they get too icky,* *I just soak them in a cup with a mixture of bleach and water and then run them through the dishwasher. The lids have a locking system that clicks so you know when its shut correctly (theres nothing like getting a lid on sideways and having it leak all over your car or diaper bag). Also, these cups do not leak! I have yet to have one leak and I have been using these for a while now. I would definatly rate these cups a 10. Easy to clean, spill proof, and cute!

I bought the **Playtex Insulator Cup **becuase my daughter was getting bigger and with warm weather coming the insulation seemed like a great feature. I checked out reviews before I made my purchase. All the cups had a mix of leaked vs. did not leak**, **so I purchased what my daughter would like and took my chances. I read the directions for inserting the valve for the **Playtex Insulator Cup **and realised that many people were proabably not following the directions. I am very careful when I put the **Playtex Insulator Cup** valve in place. I have not had any leaking problems. The **Playtex Insulator Cup **is a good size for my daughter's age. She is 17 months old and we have had this cup for about a month. I am very happy with the size of the **Playtex Insulator Cup **and the lack of leaking. I would definately reccomend the** Playtex Insulator Cup **to anyone that is looking for a larger cup for thier growing toddler.** The depth of the Playtex Insulator Cup **makes it a bit difficult to clean with just a sponge, but with a bottle brush it is not a problem.****

A necessity when you have children is sippy cups, but finding one that actually works well and is easy to use for kids can be difficult and vary per child. I purchased a Playtex Disney Princess Insulator cup a couple years ago for my four year old and once again for my one year old. Both of them love their sippy cups and seem to never be without them. They don't leak, except for a little dribble every once in a while from the top, but compared to some it isn't much. But there are some major drawbacks and frustrations pertaining to this cup. For one, for some reason there seemed to be a need for there to be an indent around the spout of the cup. So lots of junk gets stuck in it and I have to clean it out with a tooth pick. Also, I have to use a Q-tip to clean out the spout area and the little air hole spot. Soy milk can curddle quickly in these spots and it constantly has to be cleaned out so it gets annoying that you can't wash it like a normal cup and lid. I still think that the pros outway the cons, so I wll continue to use it...it's just annoying.

I absolutely adore Playtex cup in general.  They are the only cup that I have found that doesn't leak and that holds up very well.  The insulated cup happens to be my favorite because it keeps drinks cool for a long period of time.  Milk stays cools for hours.  My son loves the different designs that they have and particularly loves the Mickey Mouse crew.  He actually sleept with it the first time he used it!!!  This cup is truly leak proof which I can not say about many of the other sippy cups we have tried.  I'm tempted to try the sipster from playtex but I love these insulated cups so much, I'm not sure that I want to change a good thing.  these are actually a great gift idea because kids love to drink out of their favorite designs. I would highly recommend this cup to my friends and family and will continue to use them daily for my son.  I really love this product and feel that Playtex is a great brand.

I have a number of the playtex insulator cups and utilise them regularly for my toddler.   They are worth buying to keep beverages cool longer and have the added benefit of being BPA free (according to the label).   After looking at the insulated sippy cups in the stores, this appeared to be the best option for cost to quality benefit.   Drawbacks includes crevices around the inside bottom of the lid and some difficulty cleaning the valves.   The small brush that comes with a bottle cleaning brush combo does the trick, though after a while cleaning it too much with this type of brush will create some leaks.   This is not the type of cup that can be utilized easily without the valve, it will spill quickly when tipped.   The best feature of this cup is the price.   If the cup gets lost or, in my opinion, too nasty to clean, it can be thrown out without much financial questioning.   Overall, I recommend the playtex insulated sippy for their cute designs, insulation, and that they are BPA free.

The Playtex Disney Insulator Cup Little Einstein is a big nine ounce cup.  Just perfect for thirsty toddlers who always seems to ask for more when you give them the smaller sippy cups.  These are also great for on the go.  Perfect to take along on walks or in the car or on any other family outtings.  They do not leak providing that you have the plug thingy pushed in tight and you screw the lid on correctly.  My daughter loves all the cute designs they have.  They have flowered cups, barnyard animals, dinosaurs...all kinds of patterns.  We have 6 of these so far.  They are sold in twin packs and are fairly inexpensive.  My daughter likes that I let her pick out the ones we buy.  At mealtime, she will proudly announce to me which cup she wants to drink from at dinner.  She feels so grown up because she gets to make choices.  These cups are dishwasher safe and they seem to be indestructible.  My daughter will slam them down on the table, hit them with her fork, throw them across the room...and they have all withstood all the abuse she can dish out on them without breaking.  This is the best toddler sippy cup I've found.  I recommend it.

I have tried several different sippy cups for my children but the Playtex Insulator cups are my favorite.  I have had very little problems with leaking, and the problems I had were my fault for screwing the lid on incorrectly.  I have had very good luck with these sippy cups and love that they are dishwasher safe.  My only minor complaint is that I had a difficult time finding the replacement plastic valves for ones that I lost/accidentally put down the garbage disposal.  But, I did end up finding a store locally that carried them instead of having to buy online and spend a ton on shipping the little part or buying an entire new cup.  I like the cute patterns that they come in - we have floral and barnyard theme ones as well.  My kids have all used these sippy cups and they have held up very well.  They are dishwasher safe and very durable.  My kids bang these, drop them and they have never broken!
