It's the only food my 4yo Chihuahua can keep down. All the others would make him puke or have the runs.

We feed our dogs this food. They are healthy, good-looking, and energetic so our conclusion is that this product really works. I give this a four star rating because, though there's nothing wrong with it, I feel most dog food could always be improved. We switched to Pedigree from Purina

We have always liked the quality and reliability of the Pedigree dog food brand. When we got a smaller dog, we naturally tried the Pedigree Small Breed Nutrition Mini Crunchy Bites. As the name states, it is made for small breeds of dogs. The pieces are smaller so that dogs won't have a hard time eating the food, hence the name mini crunchy bites. Our dog, a poodle maltese mix, seems to enjoy his brand of dog food as well. She always finishes her food and doesn't seem to mind it, actually she seems to enjoy it as she finishes it rather quickly. Maybe it's just her personality, she's not a picky dog, or perhaps the food does taste good to her. As for the nutritional value, it seems to be not too bad. This is a brand that I would recommend and a product that I intend on continuing to purchase, at least until my dog gets tired of it. So far, I have not had any complaints. There seems to be a decent selection of flavors. The price is not too bad and you may be able to find coupons.

Pedigree Small Breed dog food is a great middle of the road option in terms of price and quality for dog food. I can't afford the super expensive high-end dog foods, but Pedigree is one of those brands that you can count on to get your money's worth every time. My dog had no trouble adjusting to this food. He can be a bit picky and hasn't taken to other brands before, but he had no problem with Pedigree. It's the only brand I've bought in the past 5 years or so. And I love the zipper-top bag. I can get a bigger bag and not worry about it going stale before my dog can eat it all. Quality of Ingredients The quality of ingredients is a big deal. Pedigree isn't perfect, but it's better than the cheaper brands (and brands in the same price range). If you can afford the "better" dog food, then by all means buy it. However, I think Pedigree is great for my dog. He's almost 13 years old and is still going strong, so I don't think the quality of this food is an issue. Flavor Selection Pedigree offers a fair amount of flavors. I like the small breed, which as far as I know is only available in one flavor.

My Jack Russell just loves it!! She eats this like there is no tomorrow! There are sometimes coupons in the paper which is a added +!! I have sometimes flavored it with "Iams' Savory Sauce". This food is kind of hard, and for my JR I have to wet it. But that is no biggy. My Jack Russell also has a sensitive stomach which this food does not seem to bother. If you're feeding a different food and just switching to this brand, I would suggest slowly adding this food to your current food. Also, this food does seem to have more salt which makes my dog very very thirsty. So, make sure you've got lots of water available for them all day. I have also noticed that my Jack Russell also has ah shinier coat, and her nails grow way way faster. I don't know if it is because of this food, or the season change (Summer to Fall). Overall, I would recommend this food to any small breed dog owner. Also, the price is great, not high.

My pup, Bam-Bam loved this! I thought he was going to eat the bowl trying to get the last few licks out of it! No only did he love it, it loved him as well! Might have been my imagination, but I seriously doubt it, but his fur and coat got softer and smoother, he also seemed to have more 'spunk' then he usually does too. It was in smaller pieces that he could easily eat without trying to choke on them, as any of us know that have dogs, they don't always take time to chew their food, they just seem to gobble it up most of the time without chewing. Yep, my Bam-Bam loved this stuff, now he looks forward to meal time, without turning his nose up at the food bowl or taking forever and choking on the food because he's in such a hurry. Thank Pedigree..I would most certainly recommend this dog food, your pup will love it. Oh yea, it smells really great too..you don't have to hold your nose when you feed your dog with Pedigree!

Recently, this year, i was surprised with a small chihuhua! I have never had a small pet, as i have a large dog that lives outdoors, and having a chihuahua is a whole other ballpark! She is very wimpery, and shivers alot so she lives indoors. plus i do not think she would get a long with the big dog outside as she is a bit of a scaredy cat. Well as small as she is, can you imagine her tiny itty bitty teeth? yep, she needs a special food to chew. So i went out to get her pedigree small breed dog food. These are crunchy bites morsels, even these seem a bit big for her teeth! but she eats the dog food everyday no problems. Maybe i should put water mixed in with the food? im not sure, she seems fine. I trust this dog brand of food. It is quite inexpensive since i have a small dog. I guess if she were a big dog the coat of dog food would be bigger, but she goes through a big large bag in a couple of months. So its cost effective too.

I have bought so many different brands and types of dog food searching for one that both of my maltese will eat.This is the only dog food that they it all of it every time! Before when I feed them they would pick thru and eat only the pieces they liked.While doing this they would just scatter what they did not like all in the floor around their bowl.With Pedigree Small Breed Nutrition Mini Crunchy Bites we don't have to worry about the waste and the mess like we did with all of the other brands.

Pedigree small breed nutrition mini crunchy bites dog food, is the only food I buy for my adorable chihuahua. This food is small enoughn that it is not too hard on her tiny tiny teeth. The bag is available in a small size or a large size, you can buy the small size and it will last awhile because the dog does not require much to eat a day, but with that said, is you buy the larger size bag, you are saving money because the price is cheap for the larger bag! and that larger bag lasts for months! very convenient for the thrifty. I use to buy this food and it was more colorful, they just came out with a new formula for the same small breed nutrition mini crunchy bites, I kinda liked the older formula better, but i guess it is an improvement on the old formula. It may not be as colorful but my doggie seems to not mind. She loves his mini crunchy bites that are easy to chew, and she gets his full nutrition.

The Pedigree for small breeds is the best. The chunks are small for smaller dogs. I have a mini Dachshund. I also buy the Pedigree Choice Cuts in Sauce. There's a lot less fat in the Choice Cuts in Sauce. The ground dinners are loaded with fat.
