I *love* my harmony wood interchangeables. I don't have a container full of random needles that take forever to match up. There's never a problem of meeting gauge anymore, just swap out the tips. Working on a project that needs more than on size needle? No more remembering to bring the second pair with you - just swap out the tips. You can purchase additional tips and cables. If something breaks, call KnitPicks and they'll send you a replacement free of charge. KnitPicks has the absolute best customer service I've seen from any company. The wood provides the perfect grip for all yarns, but most especially wool. Cotton tends to be a bit stickier and doesn't slide as nicely as I'd like, I but it's not going to slide off of your needles. I also love that it's a circular set as I knit everything on circulars. You can't lose a needle when they're connected in the middle. A+ in my book.

I got the Knitpicks Options Harmony circular knitting needles for Christmas last year and have used them almost non-stop. This set has multiple lengths of cables (which have not broken or split, despite how much I use them), and the joins are ultra-smooth. I had one problem with one of the needles (rough wood, the yarn caught on it), and the customer service staff at Knitpicks was wonderful, and sent me a replacement needle tip. I LOVE this needle set and recommend it to any knitter.
