Perhaps this sippie cup gets better as the child gets older, but I don't recommend it for the younger ones. My eighteen-month-old daughter is a pro at her straw cups and ones with soft spouts, but this hard narrow spout is hard to get liquid out of -- even for ME! She usually gets frustrated and hands it back to me to get a different cup. If she does drink from it, she will drink for a long time, but the level of the liquid barely goes down and I know she's not getting much out. I like the larger size of the cup and the slim shape, because it fits well into cup holders in the car and on her high chair. However, it's really slick and could benefit from having handles. I also don't like the small valve -- if you are able to find it in the bottom of the dishwasher silverware rack, it never seems to get completely clean. I ended up throwing these cups away and buying others. There's really no reason to buy this cup.

The Nuby No Spill cup has great potential.  It has some good things about it.  For one, it is fairly inexpensive.  Secondly, it does a good job at preventing spills.  It comes in some nice colors for variety, and it is a good size.  My little ones always like these cups and never have had a problem with them.  But I have had a problem with them, and the reason is the valve.  The valve is reversible so there is a fast and slow drinking speed.  I'm not sure if that works well or not.  I've put it in both ways and my children never seem to notice a difference--maybe there's just not enough of a difference to notice.  The valve is kind of hard to put in, which sometimes results in it falling out if it wasn't put in tightly enough.  However, all of those things about the valve could be looked over if it wasn't for the fact that it is made in such a way that it can never be truly cleaned out.  A little bit of liquid from whatever was in the cup stays in the valve--and it's in the inside of the valve so you can't clean it out.  Then after a while mold starts growing in the valve--there's no way that can be healthy.  I have gotten rid of the mold and made the valve like new by soaking it in bleach water--which is definitely one way of doing it if you just can't afford a different cup.  But then you have to wonder how much bleach water is left in the valve for the child to drink the next time the cup is used.  Bottom line, if you can afford it, go with a different option.

My 3 year old loves these cups. He will use these one more than any other cup and I also love the fact that they don't spill everywhere. He throws his cups a lot and when he throws this cup it doesn't spill all over like other cups have that we have bought. I am very please with this product and have even got some of my friends to start purchasing these cups. I also am very pleased with the price because it is within my budget.

I was in the market to buy new sippy cups recently.  I have two children currently using sippy cups (ages 3 and 1 1/2) and a baby due any day.  Plus, we wanted to have extra cups available when having families with young children over.  So, we wanted to have at least 6 sippy cups, without devoting half a kitchen cabinet to their storage.  So stacking was key, and very few sippy cups stack.  These do beautifully. Currently, there are also six colors available: pink, purple, blue, yellow, green, and orange.  The colors are bright and appealing to young children.  Having more colors available allows you to have more cups in use and still be able to tell whose is whose. The valve on the inside of the cup is reversible for a slow or fast drinking speed, which allows it to work well for older or younger children. The drinking spout is rigid.  My children are breastfed and do not drink from a cup until at least 10 months of age.  So, I cannot speak for how well this cup would work for a younger child. These have always cleaned up nicely in the dishwasher. I am very happy with these cups and would definitely recommend them to parents of older babies and toddlers.
