I bought this router because I needed a dual band router to replace my single band one. The router was very easy to setup manually and if you are not too tech oriented you could just use the Genie setup and follow the instructions, they are quite self explanatory.After setting up for both bands I try to test the throughput. Was quite happy with the speed that I was getting,very fast and was about twice as fast as my single band router. The only complain that I have is that the 5 ghz band does not have much range. So, when I am further away and the signal seems to fall off I switch to the 2.4 ghz band and all is fine . I tried the usb drive and were quite simple to setup but I don't use it so I cannot tell you how fast or reliable it is. All in all, I would highly recommend this router for anyone who wants fast and relible speed for their internet.
