I have Nature's Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Body Wash and absolutely love the scent, so I decided to layer the wonderful fragrance and buy the matching lotion too. **Nature's Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Lotion** is made with all natural ingredients, is not tested on animals and is paraben-free and petroleum-free. Scent Just like the matching body wash (and shampoo & conditioner), this smells fabulous. I love fruity scents and this smells super fruity...kind of like fruit punch, but better! I don't really know if I notice "pomegranate", but it smells so good, I don't care. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't last as long as I would like it too. I have body lotions that I can smell on my skin long after it's been absorbed, but this lotion's scent only lasts 30 minutes to an hour. Absorption While it's not greasy or oily, it does leave a "feeling" on my skin. It's kind of a subtle presence, but it's not really bad because it goes away shortly after application. Effectiveness If only this product was a little bit more moisturizing. It's very thin and not as creamy as I would like, but I do prefer the texture of body butters to lotions, so that might just be me. It's made with excellent moisturizing ingredients, mainly oils, but I wish shea butter was closer to the beginning of the ingredient list because I think that would give it a great texture and be a little bit more moisturizing. As is, this is a nice, light lotion that would be perfect for summer. If you have really dry skin, this is not the product for you.
